Built by the cadilac/gage corp in 1980 for the US Air Force and U.S. Navy. For use as a security/convoy escort vehicle. The truck has 1/4 inch Cadaloy Armor, windows are 2 inch laminated bullet proof glass. The vehicle was replaced in the early 90's by the AM General Armored Humvee.When the vehicle was released from the military, it was acquired by a large number of US law enforcement agencies; i.e., FBI, State and local police departments.This is the only peacekeeper in Canada and one of a few in private hands.This vehicle was owned by phoenix 1 international Film Services and has been used on a number of movies and TV productions filmed in Vancouver; i.e. Battle in Seattle and Wolverines.
