This one of a kind historic 1925 Track T Roadster is an exact replica of the car started in 1945 by Grant Lambert and Don Borth. This exact replica was actually built by Grant Lambert and Don Borth in 1986. This history behind this car is unbelievable and a true part of auto racing history. The original car appeared in the second ever Hot Rod Magazine in Feb. 1948. This car won numerous trophy dashes and main events with Grant Lambert behind the wheel. The original car was completely destroyed at a CRA race in El Centro in 1955. Lambert and Borth collaborated in 1986 to build this exact replica. Borth, who fabricated the original nose, hood, and belly pan, reconstructed the same design for Lambert on this replica. This was the last car Borth would work on as he passed away shortly after this car completion. Through the years Borth became an excellent fabricator and worked on racecars for many racers such as A.J. Foyt, Eddie Kuzma, Mickey Thompson, Ernie Imerso and many others. In 1989 Lambert was running a WRA event at Ventura Speedway and ran over the wheel of Walt James' car, hit the wall, nearly destroying the car again and seriously injuring himself. The car was then taken to old time roadster and sprint car driver Tony Farr in Riverside, Ca. There with the help of Ray Vodden and others the famous # 44 was rebuilt as it runs today with a 3/8 x 3/8 flathead on alcohol with the same nose, hood, and belly pan built by Don Borth. In @ the year 2000 old time hotrod enthusiast Charlie Jenkins purchased this car from Grant Lamberts wife. Since 2000 Jenkins has taken excellent care of the car with the occasional trip to car shows and maybe a few donuts in the backyard, (which I witnessed today!) The car was then featured in Hot Rod Magazines May 2001 edition. This car is a true part of CRA and WRA racing history and has a true racing lineage. Jenkins, now 77, is headed to the beautiful state of Az. for retirement and desires this car to remain a piece of racing history. We need a museum or individual who appreciates the cars true history to step up to the plate and purchase this vehicle. Hello, Erick here. Sorry it has taken so long for me to do a proper description. As I have been busy building another MGA. Up for sale is our 1959 MGA Roadster with 92,613 original miles. This is a ALL ORIGINAL CAR.The motor/drive train/chassis and body have never been separated from one another before. we recently finished the restoration of this magnificent car. I have taken every nut, bolt and screw off of the car (COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLING THE CAR) and meticulously cleaned and inspected all the parts for any signs of damage, only replacing what was necessary. The drive train has been thoroughly inspected, carburetors cleaned and re-tuned and considered to be sound and in very good running condition by a professional vintage drive train builder. The paint and body was done by a well known and respected restoration specialist. We found that this car has NEVER had any sign of accidents or incidents to the frame and body along with no rust found anywhere on this vehicle. Some of the parts replaced include: New master cylinder. Brake lines. Clutch slave cylinder, new distributor/cap/rotor/plugs and plug wires, heater blower motor, new interior with carpet, new soft top, new wood steering wheel (the original wheel was not with the car when we purchased it). Being that we are automotive purist, all of the parts purchased came from Moss Motors as we believe they are the benchmark for quality in British motor cars. I have for sale my 1998 Panoz AIV Roadster. This is an actual production car...not a kit car! They were made from 1997-1999 and only 176 were built. It is the 43rd car made in 1998. This is one of the rarest colors produced with only a couple made. They are all built by hand and use many Ford parts so work can be done very easily if ever needed. The Panoz company is American out of Georgia and still makes vehicles. They carry most parts if anyone ever needs any. The AIV stands for Aluminum Intensive Vehicle because most of the car is made of aluminum to keep the weight low. It was shaped with the same technology that NASA used for the space shuttle. This is my second Panoz to own and I am very familiar with them to answer most questions. It has a 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds. It makes an amazing sound like no other car I have ever owned due to the the powerful V8 Cobra engine and Panoz stock exhaust. It is very fast and gets a lot of attention. It is one of the most fun vehicles you will ever drive. It comes with both factory options offered...the side wind guards and the upgraded pedals. I put in a brand new bluetooth Pioneer stereo system with remote, Rockford Fosgate amplifier, and a 4-speaker set of Morel speakers! Because the engine is loud, it is very difficult to hear the stereo while driving the car, so the stock system was worthless. I have all stock parts if buyer would like them too. It also comes with the official Panoz floor mats and car cover. I have had protective floor mats over the Panoz mats to keep them like new. This Panoz also has the leather cover that holds the zip in plastic window curtains to keep them looking nice. The top is in like new condition. The interior is in great shape, considering it is a 17 year old car. The tires are in great shape with a lot of tread and no need to replace anytime soon. The official name of the car color is Cabernet (maroon...wine color). I am the second owner. The original owner put the custom ghost flames on the wheel flares and hood scoop. They are tastefully done and not obnoxious. Unless you are angled just right, you can't even tell they are there. The car has a few rock chips on the front end , front wheel flares, and rear wheel flares. (there is really only one noticeable that is on the front nose...see photo...that created a small indentation and caused the paint to spider crack, but not chip off). They are impossible not to have with the aerodynamics of this car. All Panoz Roadsters have the front tires kick up rocks to hit the rear wheel flares...that is the reason for the black protective material put on the rear wheel flare stock on every Panoz AIV Roadster. The previous owner put a couple scatches on the front rims (driver's side has 3-4...see photo, passenger side 1 and a small half). the rear rims are in excellent shape. Everything runs great and it comes with both keys, key to the trunk lock, instruction manuals for both car and stereo, original window sticker, custom Panoz car cover and mats, and a poster sized frame that the original owner had made for his car shows.
