We bought this from the original owner who used it for commuting to work (about a mile from his house) but we never found a need to ride it, thus the low miles. I ride motorcycles so we haven't ridden it since the purchase (it was originally for my wife). Thus the reason for the low miles as well. Range information, a mix of highway and city riding: 36 miles maximum! 30 miles is a safe range to work within. Acceleration and top speed gradually suffer as the charge drops, of course. My best top speed was 56mph on level ground and in a racing position (tucked behind windscreen). It does hit 55mph in a regular sitting position. It requires a motorcycle endorsement on your license to ride it as it can reach a top speed of 55mph. While it can get to that top speed it won't do it in a hurry! This would be a great scooter for in-town and city riding, even in the suburbs, if the top speed you will ever see is 45mph (less top-end riding improves range). As a motorcycle rider I personally would not recommend using this on a major highway or interstate e.g. Hwy26 or I5. Comes with charging unit that plugs into any standard home electrical outlet. Everything works except the horn (it's there but no sound when I push either button), has center and side stands. Tires and brakes are still good. Has some storage under the seat and can carry two people. Rear parcel rack. We replaced the upper front parking bulb and the center rear parking/stop light to super-bright LED units. Very bright and uses less electricity, helping to save more for riding. Clean title in hand. It's basically this scooter, only the 2008 version: http://www.neoscooters.com/XM-3500Li-Electric_Moped.asp 60AH yellow batteries (http://www.everspring.net/product-battery-LFP60AHA.htm) with 6cm spacing between terminal centers. Unknown amount as some are in a battery storage compartment under the top set (see pictures) but I could count a minimum of 12 units. http://www.sourcingelectricals.com/60AH-Lithium-Battery-60AH-Lithium-Cell-60AH-Lithium-ion-Battery-60AH-Lithium-ion-Cell-60AH-car-lithium-battery-30096800/ Voltage at the charging plug is 74.7volts Voltage of the top 6 batteries that are visible (picture of batteries with white circuit breaker in the middle): 3.56 : 3.53 3.62 : 3.58 3.50 : 3.60 Charger states 75volts at 15amps output DC; Input is 99-121volts at 45-63Hz AC; Model is TSL60-15 More about electric scooters: http://scooterunderground.ca/knowledge/faq/gas_scooters_vs_electric_scooters.htm Comparable to a 150cc motor. Cash payment is expected. Test rides require a valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement, helmet, close-toed shoes (i.e. no sandals, flipflops), and cash in hand so you can own it if you drop it ;-)
