** NEW PRICING ** Lovely one family-owned 1950 Riley RMB (2-1/2-liter) acquired from Marley Motors of Warwick RI in 1952 with just 9K miles. Used as daily transportation by a Boston area family then placed in dry storage in 1956. In 1971, the vehicle was subject to a full mechanical rebuild including engine, fuel system and brakes. Used sparingly until having a bare-metal respray, new top and door panels, headliner and carpets in 1975. Rod bearings replaced with shells in 1979. Driven regularly and always well maintained, stored in 2010 then returned to the road this month with renewed registration and inspection sticker. Superb running engine with plenty of smooth long-stroke power. 40-year old paint shows well with customary nicks and a few areas of crazing. Just the right patina to the original leather seats. Bluemels Brooklands steering wheel with custom hub. Rare mechanical tachometer. Club SS exhaust system. Supplementary electrical cooling fan, seat belts and turn signals. Chassis # 60D5983. The car is rough and will require restoration and in need of additional parts to complete (the UK-based Riley RM Club offers a massive inventory of spares). Chassis appears intact including rear end, half shafts, torque tube and front suspension and steering. 1992 Bill-Of-Sale to me. Rare club or opera coupe. Good size coupe with rear seat that takes up 3/4 of space with storage adjacent. Front drivers seat and flip and slide jump seat which is included and slide tracks for it are still in car. Out of long term storage. Wood appears very solid except for roof bows which need replacement but originals are in the car and front floor boards are missing. Body appears very straight and solid with the exception of rust in the right front fender by the running board, some holes in the grill shell, pitting on the shelves around the hood and a few other minor spots. Frame is very good. Motor in car is stuck but another motor that turns is included. Front wheels are not original but appear to fit. Bolt pattern looks like 6 on 5 1/2. Tires hold air. Transmission shifts, mechanical brakes work. Cowl lights are with car. Missing outside door handles but a vintage set is included but from some other make and do not look to fit without some adaptation. Trunk lid is bent and dented and will need repair. There is a box of misc parts shown in pics Don't know much about these cars and have tried to describe the condition as best as I can. Will try to answer any questions. This was the last year for Maxwell. Walter P Chrysler was president and reorganized the company as Chrysler Corp. There is NO TITLE, Vermont does not issue titles for vehicles over 15 years old.
