I N T E R N A T I O N A L B U Y E R S W E L C O M E UNIQUE ACQUISITION OPPORTUNITY1927 BUGATTI T-35 ROADSTER TRIBUTESHOW CAR N E V E R R E G I S T E R E D O R D R I V E N TITLED AS A 1980 NISSAN SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION Those ebayers who know and appreciate the inimitable Bugatti marque will undoubtedly recognize the superb quality of this completely hand built, very impassioned ALL-STEEL bodied Bugatti T-35 tribute car. The western New York gentleman who labored more than six years to build this car invested thousands of dollars and thousands of hours of meticulous research and fabricating to construct what I consider, "as authentic a Bugatti as you are EVER likely to find for under $30,000". As mentioned earlier in this listing, this car is ALL STEEL construction completely hand riveted and more than 300 hand punched intake and exhaust "breathing louvers" on the bonnet and the body of the Bugatti which aesthetically makes this rare "build" quite impressive and authentic. This Bugatti T-35 tribute is very unusual in many respects as it was constructed about 35 years ago but was never driven. The very powerful six cylinder inline Nissan motor runs but the two carbs will require a major adjustment as the car sputters and never gains full RPM's and floods the carbs, I know this because the smell of gasoline is quite strong after the car runs for a few minutes and the engine dies when the accelerator is depressed deeply. The steel panels on the car and Bugatti blue paint are in excellent, like new condition as can be easily seen in the high resolution photographs, and very easy to determine that this car was never used for transportation. It in fact has been stored in a garage for 30+ years and has never been registered, and driven less than 20 miles in its lifetime according the builder who built many roadsters and speedsters in his life but only two Bugatti's both of which I now own, and this car has been confirmed was only displayed at car shows, . I am absolutely certain that this Bugatti was never used or driven, because when the 45 foot auto transport dropped the Bugatti's off about 3 miles from my home, I attempted to drive this car home against the advice of the elderly gentleman who sold me the two Bugatti's. The car started fine but after about driving one mile, the engine started sputtering and the cockpit smelled heavily of gasoline. Also the rear left wheel had a noticeable wobble (possibly from an incorrectly mounted rim) and the steering was very tight, very similar to the manual strength required to drive Ford Model T, except this car is much heavier. And most importantly, Jay Leno in his YouTube videos makes a pretty strong statement about how tight the cockpits are in his Bugatti T-35's, and this car is no exception. The cockpit will have to be extended rearward at the driver's seat because it does not comfortably seat a normal sized man. Adding room to the bench seat should be a fairly straightforward reconfiguration as the body is entirely steel so cuts and welds will be routine adjustments for an expert. As for the overall condition of the car it looks to be in nearly showroom condition with zero signs of wear, in excellent unused condition all around, as difficult as this is to believe for a 35 year old construction. Now if you are looking to buy a beautiful Bugatti T-35 tribute car for your son or daughter's High School Cotillion Ball in few weeks, this is NOT the car for you I must advise. This magnificently constructed legendary Roaring Twenties Bugatti roadster will require the attention of an experienced builder, as this vehicle will need major adjusting, tweaking and calibrating as it has NEVER been registered or driven! I am fully aware that this disclosure may turn off many potential buyers but this still relatively brand new 35 year old Bugatti T-35 tribute would benefit (and appreciate) greatly in the hands of an experienced collector car mechanic or car builder as this magnificent machine is a diamond in the rough, however new and unused. This Bugatti has ONLY been a show car and was featured in its last public showcase at the 2014 Buffalo New York's Autorama with other valuable antique roadsters and speedsters. The elephant radiator mascot might seem kind of whimsical, but deep Bugatti enthusiasts know that Ettore' Bugatti mascoted his monstrous and elegant Bugatti Royale with an elephant so, this pachydermic tribute only serves to adulate the engineering and aesthetic genius "real genius" of the greatest car builder that ever lived! My car is located in Key West, Florida zip code 33040 and I can fully arrange expeditious and fully insured shipping to any location in the United States for about $0.67 per mile I can also arrange fully insured shipping to any destination in the world. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WELCOME SECOND GENERATION 1935 AUBURN BOAT TAIL SPEEDSTERMANUFACTURED BY CALIFORNIA COACHinPasadena, California1980 FREE ENCLOSED SHIPPING IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES I am please to present what is probably considered to be the most elegant and beautiful automobile every built. This second generation 1935 Auburn Boat Tail Speedster manufactured in 1980 by California Coach in Pasadena, California. This car has been owned by an aeronautics engineer for 33 years until his passing and the car was sold by the executors of his estate to a rare car dealer in Laguna Hills, California for one summer until I acquired it. The acquisition of this spectacular automobile has been the realization of a lifelong dream for me as I have always wanted to own the inimitable Art Deco styled Auburn Boat tail Speedster. I have owned many big bodied S series Rolls Royces and Bentleys and I know firsthand that stylistically nothing compares to the jet age futuristic lines of the Auburn Speedsters. The exterior of the Auburn has the original deep burgundy paint that is 35 years old and original to the build and while the car is very presentable as seen in the pictures, the car will require a respray to be perfect as the paint is thin around the door sills and front and rear fore-fenders has chips to the paint from rocks on the road. It is a magnificent daily driver as I have recently driven the car on a 600 mile trip to the Hollywood Hard Rock Casino in Fort Lauderdale from Key West, and it was a very memorable driving experience. My car is equipped with a massive 6.7 liter 400 big block Ford engine on a modified Lincoln Continental chassis, and mind you, these cars were not sold as kit cars, you could only buy the California Coach Auburn Boat Tail Speedster already manufactured from the factory in Pasadena, California. The acceleration from the motor is like a Corvette as this car is massive, very responsive and fast. The drive train has an original 29,800 miles and the car drives and handles like a massive sports car, tight and superbly. There is a compressor for air conditioning but it does not have a belt attached. The interior of the car is appointed in tan leather with no rips or tears, there is however slight wear very minimal fading to these surfaces as the original interior is 35 years old, but excellent for its age. I think that it could use a re-dye but other than that it's excellently appointed and the craftsmanship is superior and detailed, like a Bentley or Rolls Royce interior. The burgundy carpets are slightly faded and show their age as would be expected from a 35 year old open cowl roadster. The undercarriage of the car in excellent form with no rust whatsoever as this is a documented lifelong southern California car. The drive train is a custom modified 1980 Lincoln Continental chassis so parts are readily available and servicing the vehicle will be relatively inexpensive and straightforward, the very best of both worlds. The car is old enough that it looks to be absolutely authentic as 35 years of patina adds wonderfully to its appearance. The very expensive aluminum rims (in excellent like new condition) are Boyd Coddington and the new wide whitewalls are Goodyear, this tire and rim package probably cost the previous owner upwards $7500. I would prefer to have the tall black walled bias ply tires to add to the period correctness and overall authentic appearance of the Speedster. I recently acquired more than a dozen Richard Petty NASCARS and perhaps underestimated the costs involved with marketing and shipping of my race cars, so I am positioning myself by offering one of my prized automotive possessions. The Pasadena based California Coach manufactured Auburn Speedsters is a very imposing automobile as the bonnet sits well above the high mid section to a 6 foot tall man. The car is incredibly wide, long and very, very heavy, but the 6.7 liter motor makes it feel like a gigantic sports car, its acceleration is very impressive for a car of this imposing dimension. And no car in the world is more beautifully styled, at least that's what most vintage car enthusiasts say. Please email with any inquiries or partial trades. Fully enclosed auto transport shipping is included for the buy it now price. FREE ENCLOSED SHIPPING TO ANY DESTINATION IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES The car up for auction is a beautiful Auburn boattail speedster. Built by California Coach. Powered by Ford 400 V8 big block. Car Runs and Drives very nice, Brakes work great and car can be driven with no mechanical problems. Rear air ride, Boyd Coddington Custom wheels with Goodyear tires in excellent shape. The paint is Original to the build and shows wear, please see pictures for better description, there are places that are cracking in the paint. Overall a great driver but with a new paint job this car would be 50k+ Car has A/C but compressor does not have the belt on it. The interior is nice and has no tears just light wear. Rare hardtop included. International Bidders Welcome, Delivery to the port is available. Shipping and Payment: A $500 deposit required at end of auction end. PayPal, Money order, Cash or Cashier's Check only. Car needs to be paid in full within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made. Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping. I will assist with arrangements if needed. Car will not be released until funds have cleared.I recommend Montway.com for Shipping. TRADES WELCOME UP OR DOWN

1928 CHEVY BOAT TAIL SPEEDSTERALL STEEL BODY Happy Holidays everyone and thank you for viewing my listing. I am offering for sale a custom 1928 Chevrolet Boat Tail Speedster (the car is titled as a 1928 Chevrolet Sedan). This very attractive automobile was conceived and constructed on an original 1928 Chevrolet frame and 4 cylinder motor by a very experienced builder of Speedsters in the Pacific Northwest having designed and built many in the last 30 years. I purchased the car for my wife who expressed an interest in having something very unusual and sexy perhaps a convertible or preferably an open-cowled Roadster or Speedster. The pictures represent the Speedster as refined and elegant, but she is anything but. This the oldest automobile that I have ever purchased and driven and she doesn't drive like our 2001 Cadillac Sedan. While my wife salivated over the way the car looks and the attention it garners, this 1928 Speedster is very loud and raw, the car does not have power steering and she had a difficult time turning the steering wheel when the car is sitting still or parking at very low speed, the "Beast" also does not have power brakes. I personally do not have any trouble turning the steering wheel or braking, but if you are a petite 95 pound lady with long fingernails, this may not be the car for you. While driving the car at about 15-20 miles per hour, there was a serious vibration on the front end after hitting a pothole and only ceases when you slow down or turn the steering wheel a bit, but at 45 mils per hour the Speedster seems to handle perfectly. Here in Key West, Florida the top speed limit is 35 mph so I haven't had the opportunity to drive the car faster than 45 mph. The engine has been professionally rebuilt and runs fine, however in the morning the car requires a few seconds to fire up. Basically, I bit off more than I can chew with this fabulous "Beast", I know absolutely nothing about fixing or maintaining old cars (this car is 86 years old!) I don't even change car batteries, I just enjoy buying and driving beautiful and unusual cars. I do not recommend this, or any nearly 90 year old automobile to anyone who does not understand and work on cars. This beautiful 1928 Chevrolet Speedster is for the purist, not a casual driver like myself. I have owned several Bugatti Replica's with the Volkswagen drive train and I prefer that, a car that was manufactured in the late 1960's but looks very old. I hope that I haven't scared everyone away but the objective and bottom line here is that this car is a rare and fantastic automotive investment opportunity, and the previous owner spent a great deal of money and time bringing this machine functionally into the 21st century, and that was certainly reflected in the price that I paid for this car. I don't mean to sound trite here but as the old adage goes, my loss is surely going to be someone's gain. Please email with any questions and offers. Happy Holidays.
