Outstanding 1958 Messerschmidt, manufactured post war. Greta has been in the family for many years. Based on some tight living arrangements she has asked to be moved to another home. She has provided many fun hours to our Grandchildren who consider her their own.Greta may not be the prettiest girl on the block but she will stand out in a crowd and make a great addition to any collection. The three-wheeled bubble car was designed by the aircraft engineer Fritz Fend and produced in the factory of the German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmidt from 1955 to 1964. Messerschmidt, temporarily not allowed to manufacture aircraft, turned its resources to producing small engine vehicles. The Messerschmidt was created from the cockpit of the aircraft!
