The Hornet was also built by American Motors Corporation (AMC) in Kenosha Wisconsin and marketed under the Hudson brand between 1955 and 1957. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this unique and rarely seen 1953 2 door Twin H Hudson Hornet, truly classic American collector’s find! First-generation Hudson Hornets featured a functional “step-down” design with dropped floor pan and chassis creating a lower center of gravity than contemporary vehicles that aided the car’s handling capabilities which was a bonus for racing. The Hornet’s lower and sleeker look was accentuated by streamlined styling, sometimes called “ponton” styling. The car’s unique, low slung appearance and silky handling earned Hudson an image that – for many buyers – eclipsed luxury marques like Cadillac. The 1953 model year brought minor changes to the Hudson Hornet. The front end was modified with a new grille and a non-functional air scoop hood ornament. Four different body designs were produced: a two-door club coupe, Hollywood hardtop, Convertible Brougham, and a four-door sedan. Hudson Hornet 1953 model year production totaled 27,208 units of which around 910 were the Hollywood hardtops. As a point of interest, an upgraded 8-tube radio was a option. Finished in classic and desirable black exterior over a very original blue/gray cloth interior,  the paint finish and body show extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Inside, the seat upholstery looks great in a crushed velour cloth with no major signs of wear visible. The door panels are finished to match the seats and dashboard are matched to mirror the exterior of the car and all look fantastic. Paint and body are displayed well with  minimal paint issues and no visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find. This nicely represented Hudson is equipped with the optional “twin-H” or twin one barrel carburetor setup, a L-head (flathead or sidevalve) design. At 308 cu in (5.0 L) it was the largest displacement six-cylinder engine in the world at the time. With its unique carb configuration, the engine produces 145 hp which is linked to a Hydramatic automatic transmission, the car also features wide whitewall tires on OEM steel wheels with Hudson hub caps, original AM radio, and set of spare keys (rare!). Daily use or weekend get-a-ways, this iconic 50’s sled is ready when you are! With the low production numbers these Hornets are becoming increasingly hard to find in such solid well kept condition. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! Current mileage on the odometer shows 6,896, it is sold as is and is mileage exempt on clean and clear Illinois title. 1956 Hudson Hornet Special Super 8, equipped with factory air. This is a rare car, only 1,757 were produced. The paint is believed to be mostly original, it looks like it may have been touched up in a few places over the years. The chrome is all in great shape, and there are no rust holes or rot anywhere. There is a little surface rust surrounding the trim spears on the sides, particularly in the front quarters. Again, there are no holes in these areas, just superficial rust. The car starts right up and runs well. The brakes need work, the car does stop but not as fast as I'd like. Tires are newer. Someone added an auxiliary temp gauge and a starter button, most likely because there was something wrong with the ignition switch and they couldn't find one, but I don't know. The 2 driver side windows are cracked and will need new glass. The interior has seen better days, but serviceable if you just want to drive it for a while with a seat cover on. Several parts included in trunk, including new horn button and new light-up grille emblem. Please ask as many questions as you want, and fee free to give us a call at 248-633-6086 for any questions. Overseas buyers are welcome, we have done many overseas car sales in the past and are familiar with the process.

This car was placed in a family friends salvage yard in 1995. I recently purchased this Hornet to save it from the crusher. I hate to see a car be destroyed when there is someone out there that's been searching for it. I hope there is someone out there that will bring the green machine back to life. the owner of the yard has misplaced the tittle and is currently looking for it, we can always go to DMV and get a replacement. I want this to go to a good home so let me pass it on at the right price of course which is always negotiable with cash :) Thanks for stopping and looking at it have a great day. don't be scared to make an offer the most ill say is no. I have 3 other cars and a hearse I am taking all this money and investing it back into my 1973 Pontiac hearse.

Offered 1956 Hudson Hornet Super with thirty two thousand plus actual miles. Car originally purchased 10-3-1956 in Milwaukee Wi., Sold to Montevideo Mn. 04-30-81 and I purchased in 2014. Car was always in attached garages and covered. Paint is original except where there is repaint on passengers side doors below chrome strip. Looks like she hit garage, paint work is not great, but I would not have it redone. Orignal dealers tag on trunk lid along with AAA car club badge, how cool is that. I had brakes completely redone lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, linings, drums turned, stops straight. Fuel pump rebuilt, carb rebuilt, cooling system completely flushed and new fluids, all fluids and filters changed. Car is original and in great condition, interior is way above average. Drives great, shifts as it should, some play in steering as all older cars have. Please look at pictures and ask any questions, this is one fine car. Clock will be reinstalled in dash. Original rubber floor covering is water marked from leaking heater valve, it is now repaired (see Pics) I'm sure it could be washed.

"The Green Hornet". This is a very rare and special car that was featured in Hemmings and praised for its originality and style. This car was owned for 63 years by its past owner before she left it to her daughter. This car is equipped with the rare 250 cu. in V8 and automatic transmission. There is and never was any rust or damage to this real time-capsule. It was restored many years ago to perfection and lovingly cared for. This car is a pleasure to drive with its original interior and smooth lines. It gets thumbs up every time it is driven. I have been told that this is one of the best in the country by a longtime member who knows these cars well. Turn the key and go. This car needs nothing and may be driven home if you wish. I have seen a lot of cars and this is one of the sweetest, a great opportunity to own a piece of history at a very good price. For additional information, contact Rick at 860-227-2487. This car is also listed for sale at the Essex Motor Club. Listings may be withdrawn at any time. All cars are described to the best of our ability and are sold as is. All sales are final. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect and pick up. Kindly do not bid unless you intend to complete your obligation as this is a binding contract as intended by eBay.

This Hudson is a great project car. The engine and drive train are in great original shape. The body has a beautiful overall patina and has been pinstriped with Ed Hardy style design . The overall condition of the interior is that most of it will have to be done. The dash is complete, the back seat, which was covered in leather, and the rocker panels are included, but it will need floor pans, door panels head liner trim, glass. I will provide three leather hides(total retail value $2200) if you want to do the front seats in the same leather. The milage shows 90,000, but it is unknown how may miles there are. This car was never issued a title from that time. It comes with the bill of sale from the previous owner. It was a project that was going to be started, but there is just to many others. Unlike traditional body-on-frame construction, which forced passengers to climb up to enter their vehicles, Hudson designers placed the entire passenger compartment down inside the chassis, surrounded by a sturdy perimeter frame. This positioned the car at a lower center of gravity, enabling it to handle exceptionally well. Hudson recognized the marketing value of racing, and engineers including Vince Piggins developed a line of “severe usage parts” which transformed the robust Hornet into the definitive stock car of the early 1950s. A lineup of drivers including Dick Rathmann, Tim Flock, Jack McGrath, Frank Mundy and Lou Figaro accumulated 13 racing wins in 1951, 49 in 1952 and 46 in 1953 in “The Fabulous Hudson Hornet”. No other car of the time could match the Hudson’s bulletproof construction, good handling and factory support. One of only 500 produced in 1951, the two-door convertible has beautiful concave lines that lead to a round rear end that looks complete from behind. The well-known car is powered by none other than the respected Power Dome Hudson inline six-cylinder engine, backed by a Hydramatic transmission. This particular Hudson Hornet Convertible Brougham has been restored from the ground-up and has been described in terms such as “a piece of jewelry.” The exterior is finished in show-quality Cornish Cream with beautiful chrome and stainless steel trim. The interior is finished in maroon leather upholstery, with the correct waffle-pattern door inserts, and it is complemented by a tan stay-fast power convertible top. Several desirable options adorn this magnificent example, including radio, heater, power windows, driver- and passenger-side pillar-mounted spotlights, fender skirts, bias-ply wide whitewalls with factory full wheel covers. The expensive restoration this car received was certainly worthy for such an exceptional automobile. The 1951 Hudson Hornet is an unforgettable racing legend, and a must have for any serious collector of American automobiles. Welcome to my page! Hoping this motorcycle can become a nice starter motorcycle for someone on Christmas. Model #: LK-180GY-2 All extra parts will be included, including a new dry cell battery that never fades in strength compared to acid filled batteries. And a NCY control module. NCY being a big name in GY6 sports. Comes with two helmets, A Brand New never worn $160 full face helmet, Red with skulls. Size Large And a used Red and Black glitter candy helmet $200+ value with a mechanized shade and face opener. Size Large. Compared to the new one just being a solid piece with shield. Also included will be new Thor motorcycle gloves. XL Red. All the stock parts will come with it that I took off and all the chrome accessories are already installed on the motorcycle. With everything included and the fact that the bike went through 5 months of rebuilding to become the new and improved motorcycle it is today, I would like to see an asking price of what I paid for just the bike itself. This motorcycle will have no rust issues, no battery issues or electrical issues, and will be faster than a 150cc original motor. It will top out at 85mph. And even though shaped like a motorcycle and can carry two people, it is in fact a scooter motor to enjoy around town or on trails. All offers will be considered. Thank you and happy bidding!
