This has been rode 3 times for possibly 2 hrs each time and 1 women race. I got last place if that helps. I am not able to handle this bike. I have Decals on it with my name that are scuffed a little from laying it down in a sandy corner. All stock the knobs are still on the tires. Paid 8,200 with taxes and the fee they charge to put it together and crate charge. The msrp is 6,200 but you will pay over 8,000 out the door. I am willing to take a 1200 loss for a few hours ride time. I had to shave the seat down because I am 5"5. and I was far from the ground.
Bought the bike last year. It needed top end rebuilt. Dug into motor & put in new oem crank but with hotrod bearings(upgrade). Used all oem everywhere else for durability. New valve springs, piston & rings. One valve had to be replaced, it failed dimensional check. Bike runs strong with great compression. Amazing power from these 250's. Motor should be good to go for many more seasons.Carb was rebuilt. No bogging. It starts either one or two kicks once you know the trick of TDC. No overheating. Probably just 2hrs on motor since rebuild.I ride at local track but don't race. I'm out their pacing with my 11 yr old developing his skills so bike isn't abused. It doesn't overheat. I have the bike ready for someone looking for inexpensive intro into the sport. New chain & new tires. New grips & graphics. I'm a 175 lb rider, suspension doesn't bottom out on the big jumps. Like the bike but I can't resist the new technology (I want to have a fuel injection bike). I never had a Suzuki or Kawi & need to complete my bucket list. Their are no reports of bike being stolen or salvaged
