Honda CT70 I have a matching set of sequential numbered Honda trails 70s that have been stored in my grandfathers garage since he bought them in 1969. One has 703 miles, the other has 724 miles both original. These baby's have the original tool sets with them, owners manuals, axes with shovels in the original canvases, as well as fold down handle bars and baskets. One has a tow package as well. Both bikes are pristine!! Nothing has been broken or replaced on them, this is a once in a lifetime find! Both bikes kick over and start on the first or second kick every time :) they run as well as when they were bought. If your a collector, you have to check these machines out! Not a crack or tear in the original seats either, and all the buttons are perfect. ENGINE:The 72cc engine has new piston rings installed to give it good compression. It has fresh motor oil and a new spark plug. Engine number is: CT70-126138 & CT70-126331 TRANSMISSION:This bike has the original 3-speed semi-automatic transmission. BIDDING REQUIREMENTS:If you have less than 10 positive feedback, you must contact me prior to bidding. I will only sell to the lower 48 US states, no international bidders. I reserve the right to cancel bids at any time to buyers who do not meet the bidding requirements. PAYMENT METHOD:I accept PayPal or cash upon pickup as a payment. If you are doing a local pickup you must make a deposit of $200 (with PayPal or cash) within 48 hour of the auction ending and pay the rest with cash. If you are having the motorcycle shipped you must send the full payment before it is shipped out, I will not release the bike to the shipping carriers until full payment is received. Up for sale is a running 1976 Hodaka Wombat 125. This bike would make a great restoration candidate, and would also be a great bike to ride as is. The Good: This bike runs great! Comes with a working speedometer, odometer, headlight, the neutral indicator light is working, and the brake light also functions. The wheels are straight, and the speedometer is showing just 2540 miles. There are many original parts, including the original Nitto tires, although it will need a new rear tire if you plan on riding it. The bars are straight, and we just installed a brand new Preston Petty fender from Strictly Hodaka. We are pretty sure the injection works, but we have it pre-mixed at 40:1. It also comes with the original shocks, tool box, and air cleaner. The serial numbers are as follows: Frame: M31710 Engine: Q15897. What you see is what you get with this Hodaka Wombat, and it will need some work if you want to restore it. The tank is virtually dent free, but there is one very small ding that is hard to see on the front left side of the tank. You really have to look to find it. Otherwise the tank looks pretty good, and could look as good as new with a fresh coat of paint. The bolt boss behind the countershaft is broken, and please see the pics for the pipe springs - they will need to be attached correctly. This bike will also need a set of fork seals. Bill of sale only, and does not come with a title. Please take a look at the pictures closely and message with any questions before bidding. We are located in Missoula, Montana right off Interstate 90, making it convenient for your shipper. Many of the larger freight companies have hubs here. I would also be willing to haul this bike as far west as Spokane, WA. We can hold the bike for up to 3 weeks in a secure garage while you make arrangements with your shipper. $100 deposit due at auction's close via PayPal, and the balance can be paid via cashier's check, money order, or a certified check from your bank.
