The 2015 YZ450F is the next iteration in a long list of award winning dirt bikes from Yamaha's stable. It is improved from the 2014 model by way of it's new EFI mapping, new suspension valving and springing, easy to use Dzus fasteners for the airbox lid, new gearing, 20% lighter throttle spring, and new motor mounts. It all starts with an extremely powerful 4-stroke that is an absolute blast to ride. It is liquid-cooled to handle the extreme performance that the 449.7cc, Dual Over Head Cam (DOHC), Titanium 5-Valve'd engine produces. The engine is backed up by an awesome 5-speed manual shift transmission with a fully manual clutch. This engine produces 59hp making it the most powerful 450 on the market. This bike also has Electronic Fuel Injection. EFI makes hard cold starts a thing of the past. It automatically adjusts the air/fuel ratio for temperature and altitude so it's always at the correct ratio to provide smooth power delivery as well as easy starting. No choke or carburetor to worry about. Just fire it up, put it in gear, and you're gone. The front suspension is a Kayaba Speed-Sensitive System inverted forks with 12.2" of suspension travel. The rear suspension uses a Kayaba monoshock with 12.4" of suspension travel. It uses a hydraulic brake in the front with a single 270mm disc and a single hydraulic brake in the rear with a 245mm disc. If you're reading this, then you probably know about Yamaha's legendary racing heritage. There are a few high performance 450s on the market, but the YZ450F is truly at the top of the list. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in great used condition. This model doesn't come standard with a speedometer or hour meter so we cannot tell you how many hours or miles it has on it. What we can say is that we see a lot of bikes each year, and this is one hasn't been abused. It was a local owner trade who wanted a Side x Side. The engine is perfect and fires quickly. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, suspension, etc. The tires are almost new with lots of tread remaining.The plastics are excellent with very few light scratches here or there, but this is a used machine so some should be expected. There are absolutely no cracks or broken plastic and it has obviously not been crashed and totaled. The only real blemishes on this entire machine are a few small scratches on the rear fender, front number plate, left side fo the air box cover, and a couple dings in the exhaust pipe. We have even provided pictures below so that you can see exactly what this machine and what the blemishes look like. He never had time to ride. Bike is same as day I bought it. Original tires, chain, sprocket, plastics etc. I stored in garage with my shelby drag pak car until it was sold. Bike has never been in mud. Look at side engine cases no wear from boots or shoes. The few times I rode was in field at a school. BIke starts 1st or 2nd kick even after sitting 6 months.Drives and shifts perfect. I always run synthetic oil and keep seafoam in gas as cleaner and stabilizer. Not many if any left this clean. The CRF250X has the right stuff to dominate the dirt. Beyond it's powerful and lightweight engine, it has dozens of smart features like works-type front and rear brakes discs, a narrow fuel tank that's easy to move around, and an 18-inch rear wheel for more flat-tire protection. In short, all the attention to detail you'd expect in a Honda. The heart of this machine is the compact and lightweight 249cc four stroke, liquid-cooled, unicam engine. It utilizes a gear-driven counterbalncer that reduces vibration and drives the water pump. Eight clutch plates provide the surface area necessary to handle the engine's massive torque, while carefully matched clutch springs provide a light feel at the lever.It's twin-sump lubrication system separates the oil supply for the crankshaft, piston and valve train from the clutch and transmission.
