Gauging interest on my 2005 Ducati Monster S2R800 Dark. It's a clean title and I swapped the warped tank with the this Ducati tank in a shark gray color. The fuel flange wires have been replaced too so it's ready to go no worries about ethanol erosion leaving you stranded. I rode the bike from here to Big Sur, California this past summer no issues. I was going to try and ride it to Folly Beach, SC but the heat nearly toppled me in my no air condition 67 mustang in Colorado so I figured I'd be miserable. There is evidence of a tip-over from it being bumped in my parking garage. There are Speedy Moto frame sliders on it and the tip-over left nothing more than some hardly noticeable warts. We all have SOME evidence of those though, don't we? (-: Some of the enhancements aside from the tank and fuel pump are: Leo Vince Exhaust Single side exhaust (RARE) Tail chop for hidden license plate Rizoma handlebars 48t SuperSprox black sprocket on the rear Fancy gold chain Gel Seat Rear sets with passenger pegs and carbon fiber anywhere could get burned Probably more... I have both helmet locks and the tool kit under the seat, all three keys included the Red Key, and the original Ducati Card that you need to program the immobilizer. I also have the original Motorcycle Owner's Manual (consult your MOM). I also have the under cowl but I removed it. I lost the rear seat cowl one day but it's a pain with a passenger anyways. I will throw in a Pitbull Stand, the windscreen, and several accessories. I have grips, a dark visor for the windscreen, a bunch of misc sliders, lots of Rizoma odds and ends, mirrors, brake fluid reservoirs, and brake and clutch levers... Just not my style but you're welcome to it and the Ducati Cover. Take your pick. Recently serviced, valves checked, and everything works, fresh oil, lots of life left of these tires. Come test ride, place cash in my hand.
Runs almost better than new because the carburetors were done by one of the best outfits in this country. Comes with luggage rack that is not install and a brand new set of indicator lights which are not installed either. The engine block was professionally polished and an engine guards installed. Comes with a small windscreen that is surprisingly effective and does not interfere with the naked look.The exhaust has been powder coated and chrome motor mounts were replaced instead of the black ones. I love this bike but I have put on to few miles in the three years I owned and it needs to be ridden. Tires are good, new Yuasa battery, oil change 70 miles ago. Engine kill switch does not work.
