This is a well maintained and cared for 2007 KTM Super Duke with only 6,300 miles and almost brand new (Less than 200 Miles) Dunlop Q3 Tires. For those of you who really know the Super Duke, you will notice that it is white, when that was not a color option in 2007. A friend with a 2008 and I swapped plastics a number of years ago, which made this one the color it is. I loved the contrast of the black and white bike!This Super Duke has a couple of extra goodies included in the price:1) Acrapovic exhaust that is sold as option equipment from the KTM dealer. I purchased this from a used dealer in 2010 with about 1200 miles on it. The motorcycle had a bent transmission output shaft and a crack in the engine case which is why it was a salvage/rebuilt title. I first had a professional welder repair the case (see photos) and took it to my local Ducati dealership who agreed to repair the TOS under warranty. This resulted in a almost complete rebuild of the transmission at 1200 miles. Since then, I have ridden it more that 4500 miles and absolutely loved every minute of it. The rear tire only has 1721 miles on it, both tires have plenty of tread life. Everything is stock except for the Terminignoni pipes. I am a very casual rider and have never dropped it. I either take it out for weekend cruising or occasionally commute to work. Passes NH and TX state inspections (currently Texas). I have all the receipts from the Ducati Dealer proving the repairs to the transmission and oil changes. So to recap, these are the reasons I really like this bike:1. Bike has never been down, frame is true and rides great.2. Low miles for a bike of this year3. Transmission only has 4500 miles since the rebuild described above performed by Ducati.4. Since I have owned it a reputable Ducati dealer has performed all maintenance (I have receipts).5. Has always been stored fully sheltered. In the interest of full disclosure, this is a list of everything to my knowledge that is wrong with the bike:1. Hanger Rash due to recent cross country moving companya. Right pipe dent and carbon fiber crack.b. Right frame has small scratchesc. Right handlebar grip has tear.d. Minor imperfections in plastic tank shroud.2. Case weld as described above3. I only have one key And the question everyone wants answered, why am I selling it if it is so great. Good question. Moving from a rural part of the country to Austin has required our whole family to downsize. Since I am not using it as much as I had hoped, I want to free some space for other endeavors. This bike has been hand built using an assortment of stock, custom, and aftermarket parts and was featured on Moto Lady Blog and the 2015 Hand Built Show in Austin, TX. The engine is a 2004 and has a single pipe that has been ceramic coated. All the other parts on this bike are powder coated black and pink. The artwork has been inlaid on the body pieces, making a beautiful collage of 1950s pinup motorcycle theme. The handlebars are after market clip-ons giving it a great look and aggressive stance ideal for cornering. The gauges sit right above the triple clamp making it very easy to see and are showing 448 miles since the build. The foot pegs, rear suspension and tail light are all aftermarket parts as well. All in all this custom build is a really cool bike and gets a ton of attention wherever it goes.
