You are bidding on a Yamaha XS 650 motorcycle. This is one of the most unique, and aggressively-styled custom XS650's around. It was featured in Renegade Magazine #15. This is a major head-turner, and it seems everyone is curious about it! It sounds incredible too! The frame was stretched, sculpted, and hardtailed. The fork is from an '07 GSXR 750 sportbike. Harley Davidson ltd ed. gold 100th anniversary rims. Custom 3D clip on bars allow you to adjust for many riding postures. The most striking features are two custom gas tanks, with a CNC'd mount. This thing looks like a nitro rocket bike! The center "tank" is actually hollow and houses the electrical. An adjustable mountain bike shock is fitted under the seat to accomodate various weights and provides a much more comfy ride. The original 1978 donor bike had about 18,000 miles on it. A picture of the donor bike before transformation is included for your reference. The build was done by a professional, and the workmanship is impeccable. The custom metalwork is simply perfect, and totally unique. This monster took a year to complete. The original VIN is on the neck tube and I have the title in hand. Also included are the seat shock's pump, an original copy of Renegade Magazine #15 featuring the bike, the key, custom kickstand, some spare parts, and the title. With spring and summer coming right up, I'd like to get this into someone's hands that'll really enjoy it and use it. This is a completely rebuilt 1977 Yamaha XS 650 twin, which has been bored to 750cc. It was built by Greg Hageman, formerly of Doc's Chops and was featured in the March 2012 issue of Café Racer Magazine. I actually don't ride motorcycles, but bought it to put in my living room as a piece of art. I let a buddy take it around the block once, so it's only had 10 miles put on it in the last year and a half. I'm moving to the Caribbean, and have decided to sell it as well as a few cars before we leave. This bike has been inside of a climate controlled garage and is as good or better than new condition with little to no signs of wear. Bike has electric and kick start and fires instantly. Has the best of everything and is built to ride. Completely rebuilt motor. No leaks. Carbs and starter are new and work great, fires fast and idles and rides perfectly. Black paint on tank is flawless. Frame and other parts have been black powder coated. Acewell electronic speedometer with 1,360 miles. Bridgestone front and rear tires. (Front 3.25 X 19, Rear 130 X 80 X 18) Wheels are polished aluminum with new bearings. Brakes are also new. Wiring and turn signals by Badlands. Tarrozzi rear sets and clip ons from Dime City Cycle. New suspension, front and rear. Greg Hageman is one of the leading bike builders in the country. He has had many bikes featured in magazines and has been on Café Racer several times. You will not find a nicer XS.

This is a numbers matching 1979 Yamaha XS650 Standard in it`s original condition except for Tires and Battery replacements over the years. This was a daily rider and always well maintained. Has newer Pirelli tires. Starts on the button with no starter kick back. All electrical works. Needs fork boots that will be supplied with the bike. This bike has been completely "gone over". It starts up right away and runs great. I am the second owner of this. The original owner put it storage without prepping it, hence, the tank and fuel lines needed to be replaced. Don't let the fact that it has 27k on it. It runs great and will for years to come. One of the downsides is that with the non vacuum petcocks, they must be turned to off each time it's shut down. Neutral can be a little hard to find sometimes but the gearbox works well. I am selling it locally so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. I have had some interest in it already. I have the title and documentation. Good luck!

For sale 1979 Yamaha xs650 - very clean like new1979 YAMAHA XS650 :: PMA + Pamco electronic ignition, Pandemonium yo' momma pipes, Heidenau Scout K60, XS360 rear wheel conversion, Biltwell Kung Fu grips, UNI Foam Pod Filters, EMGO Street Universal Bars, custom battery box w/ full custom wiring harness, custom built skateboard rack with custom oiled canvas top skateboard cruiser. Bike starts and runs great had previous engine rebuild by previous owner. I have had one side foul a plug on me but replaced the spark plug and it was fine. If it happens again I would assume it would need a new set of rings. Bike does not need a key and will fire on first kick even if cold. Runs strong and loud. This bike has been featured all over the Internet by numerous large motorcycle companies. I have only put 150 miles on this build.
