Have been on 2 long rides with no issues (from LA to Freemont). I recently moved to Illinois and this baby needs some TLC. Both tires are brand new (see pics), new front and back breaks, oil changed about 200 miles ago, just got new batteries (has warranty on battery). This is a good bike for everyday commute or for a few hours long ride. I like the straight seating and ease of maneuverability this bike offers. This is not a super very heavy bike that you cannot control. It has a bigger 750 CC engine which helpful on freeway. I have bunch of stuff that I am ready to throw in with the bike, so you do not have to buy new stuff.I have a Frank Thomas biker’s jacket (medium size), alpine star gloves (Large size), and helmet with blue-tooth and motorcycle cover. These are used and have signs of wear.Contact: Sunny: 562 270 4273

Kawasaki W650 2001 Resembling a Triumph Bonneville from the 60s, this Kawasaki gets a lot of attention. Reliable, smooth and beautiful, this particular bike has been upgraded with a SuperBrace and progressive fork springs on the front, a luggage rack and hard Givi luggage. Maintenance is by Jonas Fleck at Independent Motorcycle Repair in Philomath Oregon; last season it received new sprockets and chain, new brake pads and new tires. Stored under cover the bike has about 17,500 miles.

Practically brand new! Only 1861 miles. Original owner. 100% garaged. Never laid down. Not one scratch, dent or ding on it. 4 stroke V-twin, 4 valves per cylinder, SOHC, liquid cooled, Kevlar-reinforced belt drive, 27" seat height, 610lb curb weight, 5.3 gallon tank. Drag fork handlebars, narrow front tire, black metallic mixed with flat black exhaust and black engine casing make this bike a real head-turner. Priced to sell. If you research other used 2015 900 Customs, they range mostly $6500-$8000+, and will almost always have way more miles on it, too. Here you'll be getting an almost new bike (2015), with super low miles (1861) and the tread on the tires is virtually new. This bike will not last.
I purchased this as a brand-new leftover in 2004 from Powersports East in Bear, DE, where the service folks tell me this is the best-running, best-maintained ZR-7S they know of. Needs absolutely nothing; I'd jump on and ride cross-country without a worry. Regular 3,000 mile oil changes. This bike has served me well for commuting, weekend back-road exploring, and occasional week-long touring throughout the north east US. Don't fear the mileage: it means the bike was ridden frequently. There are plenty of low-mileage bikes for sale out there that haven't been ridden enough, with carbs getting gummed up, fuel tanks rusting inside, electrical contacts corroding, and charging systems going bad.I'm an ex-USAF aircraft mechanic so I'm big on preventative maintenance. I replace items before they wear out, fail or get too sun faded, such as the cables, seat, rear shock, fork seals, cush-drive, mirrors, footpeg rubbers, turn signal mounts, fuel lines and lots more. Nearly new tires, brakes, and front master cylinder. Recent valve adjustment. Plenty of life left in chain and sprockets. All work has been done by either Powersports East or me.Tasteful and useful sport-touring modifications, such as larger Zero Gravity windscreen, Givi racks and side cases (Givi top case and mount goes with bike but not currently installed), Garmin GPS on RAM cradle, Formotion clock, Fiamm horn, Fenda Extenda, spot mirrors, Kisan Tailblazers, stainless steel front brake lines, Progressive front fork springs and PVC preloaders, upgraded headlight bulb, BMW Sport Grips, Battery Tender pigtail, extra RAM ball mount on throttle side, and fuel gauge modified for increased accuracy. The PAIR (exhaust air-injection) system has been removed for smoother running; otherwise, the engine, carbs, and exhaust are bone stock. Full maintenance/service/modifications log and all original sales paperwork goes to the buyer, along with a barely-used Fuel-brand end can (English import), sheepskin butt pad, a tank bag or two, bunch of misc. hardware/spare parts, original seat, spare headlight and gauge bulbs, unused OEM fork springs, and whatever else I can find hiding in the garage. Always garaged at home and at work. Never down, not even a parking lot tip-over...nothing, nada. Tags good until March 2018! Has been reliable as a rock, lots of fun, and I'll miss it greatly, but I bought a new bike a few months ago and need to free up space in my small garage.
