This is an excellent example of perfect SuperMoto. I currently have brand new 50/50 dirt/street tires on it, but you can switch to all street easily. It is a great commuter, trail or all around town bike. I love it, but am clearing out a spot in the stable. Great looks with the all black plastics. The logos have been removed. It looks very exotic. I constantly have people coming up and complementing me on this bike. It is beautiful and it gets 60-70 miles to the gallon!

For sale is a 2009 Kawasaki KX450f. It has been converted to a supermoto and is completely street legal with a free and clear NC title and current registration. Making one of these street legal in NC is next to impossible, making this very rare. This thing is so much fun to ride. I'm selling because I'm moving across the country and will not be bringing it with me. There was a problem in the gearbox so I had to split the cases. While it was apart I installed:Wiseco High Comp 13.5:1 pistonHot Cams stage 2 Intake and Exhaust camsDynojet Power Commander VK&N high flow air filterFMF powercore 4 HEX muffler and powerbomb headerI wired up the lights, blinkers and speedo custom from the condenser to avoid the need of a battery which would take up valuable room in the airbox restricting airflow. The bike has a fairly powerful stator putting out 60w so there is room for a more powerful headlight. I was going to install the Baja designs Squadron pro led headlight. All work was done in December 2015, and it has been driven <1000 miles since.Two new Michelin Pilot Power 3s are installed on Warp 9 wheels that have been converted to tubeless.The bike runs little lean because I could not find an appropriate fuel map for the PCM due to engine modifications. It needs a dyno tune and I have not had time to do it. The closest place is in Charlotte.The dyno will read between 60-70 hp based on what others with similar modifications have gotten. That is A LOT for 245lb bike. It is an absolute beast!

I have a 2009 KLX 250 SF model with 13k+ miles in excellent condition with all maintenance up to date. I change the oil and filter between 2-3k mile. I'm missing some stuff but here is most of what I've done with the bike since I bought it 6,000 miles new brake pads and oil changed 7,700 valves and oil change and added 12v outlet for my cellphone 9,000 new spark plugs 10,700 oil changed 12,000 New X ring chain and sprockets 13,000 oil changed New battery Current mileage is 13,500 and going up since its my daily driver $3500 obo Dealer offered 2400 for the bike I have the receipts for most of the maintenance done at mountain motorsports the tires are in great condition with lots of life left. Upon purchase I will throw in chain lube, a gift card to mountain motorsports, grunge brush, chain cleaner, some other motorcycle stuff not sure yet. There is nothing wrong with the bike. This is NOT the 205S but the 250SF -- Super Moto that Kawasaki no longer makes, they are hard to find, "Super Fun" and really cool looking. I bought this with 800 miles from a dealer, I am the second owner. It currently has around 3,000 miles and is in perfect condition, 9/10. All services done at a professional shop, including a full service 100 miles ago that included carburetor cleaning (I have all the receipts). The only extra is the rack, the rest is stock. The bike is very agile, lightweight, relatively low seat (33.7 inch), great for any type of pavement, even the freeway, powerful little engine (21HP), six speed. I use pure fuel, ethanol-free, and keep it covered in the garage. If you change the tires you can also go off-road with no problems. I get around 60 mpg, range is around 115-120 miles. Street legal. There is an aftermarket 351cc big bore kit for this bike, which makes it a beast, along with pipes and dynojet. There is also a Kawasaki 300CC kit, which costs around $400. the bike runs strong as it is, and I didn't have the time to do any of the improvements, but it is great to have all these options for cheap, and customize it the way you want it.
