For sale is an excellent condition 2001 Illusion Red Gold Wing. I'm the second owner with service performed by Niehaus Cycle in Litchfield, Il, they are THE Gold Wing people in the Mid West. Bike has no trailer hitch and has never pulled a trailer. Extras: Swithblade highway pegs, Wind Wings and Hand Wings, chrome rotor cover with Ring of Fire led lights on front end, chrome trim and led strip lights on bags and trunk, later model windshield with vent (not stock in 2001) with no big scratches, attenuating headlight, fog lights, LED voltmeter, AM/FM/CB/intercom w/ aux input. Good tires & battery. Runs and handles great, everything works. Bike sells where is/as is. If it doesn't sell I'll keep it and tour with it. Don't have to sell, just have one bike too many. 2004 Honda Rune Illusion Blue Chrome Wheels - Low Miles

This bike is completely stock with the exception of a quick release SwitchBlade windshield.  The bike is a great ride, smooth with plenty of power and a wonderful sound. I love the Illusion Blue color which changes from a dark blue to almost black, and to purple depending on the light.  I have owned a number of bikes over the years and this is my favorite. It is refreshing to cruise with a Rune and get the questions and compliments the bike gets because it is not seen very often. I have a 100% rating and try to point out all the details of anything I sell and have been disappointed the few times I bought something that was not as described.  This bike has been well maintained by a local Honda dealership, But has not needed anything but oil changes with synthetic oil and inspections. The bike has three small stone chips and a small flake of chrome off of the rear wheel. I heard the chrome flake is not unusual for Runes and it has not gotten any bigger. I have taken pictures to show the items I described above. This is a beautiful and great running bike and if I could afford to I would put it in the living room to admire. Since my riding days are over, I want someone to be able to enjoy this awesome Rune and am listing it with no reserve!  The bike comes with the owners manual, both keys. the SwitchBlade windshield,like new Dowco bike cover and the original Rune book that came with the bike.  I have a clear N.H. title. The bike is stored in a secure and heated garage.

I am the 2nd owner of this gorgeous motorcycle. Bike is equipped with ABS, cruise control, reverse, AM/FM stereo receiver and rider to passenger intercom system. The mileage was not a mistake - 12,280 original miles. Tires are Metzler Marathons with about 80% tread remaining. Oil is Mobil 1 with six thousand miles left before the next change interval. I bought this bike to do a transcontinental ride with a close friend. He since retired from riding - getting a little older and knew his limitations. It now sits in the garage with a continuous charge from a Battery Tender (battery was new last year) and high test non-ethanol gas in the tank. It is, without a doubt, the best value in this category. Pick it up and drive it anywhere!
