I am the original owner of this bike. I have ridden it year round and used it to commute on daily, for weekend and long distance road trips as well as doing an Iron Butt ride on it... it is a great all around bike. It can do any type of riding very well. I have done all maintenance on schedule and it has always been reliable. I have never had any problems with it. Only once, about 4 years ago the stator went out, and I replaced it, and put a heavier duty wiring system in it, and have had no electrical issues since then. Only reason I'm selling is because I haven't been riding as much as I used to since my parents passed in 2015. I have taken on different roles and responsibilities and just don't have the time any more. It's a great bike that I know I will miss... but it's time for me to let it go. Feel free to message me or call me with any questions at all... I'm happy to answer anything or send more pics of specific items if you wish. The rest of the pictures were taken outside my old house and were not photoshopped. These are all good and true representations of the appearance and condition of the bike.

Honda’s original Interceptor rocked the motorcycling world like no other machine except our own legendary CB750. And now the latest iteration is here: the new 2014 Interceptor. We’ve kept all the best parts, like the 782cc V-4 VTEC engine and given it plenty of updates, including new fuel-injection mapping for better low-end torque feel. The adjustable seat height, front-mount radiator, radial-mount front brakes, side-muffler, wheels and swingarm are all totally new. InnovationsV-4 Engine: Drawing on 30 years of V-4 technology and racing success, Honda designers gave the Interceptor one of our most advanced streetbike engines ever: a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 782cc V-4 brimming with low-end torque.VTEC Valve Train: Running on two valves per cylinder at low RPM and four valves per cylinder at higher engine speeds, the new Interceptor has tons of torque down low and plenty of horsepower up top—it’s like having two engines in one.Revised Fuel-Injection Settings: Along with the Interceptor’s revised VTEC engine settings, you get increased torque feel—exactly what you want in a V-4.New Muffler: Streamlined and compact, the new muffler offers a significant weight reduction from previous designs.Front-Mounted Radiator: By moving the radiators from the fairing sides to in front of the engine, we’ve slimmed down the bike’s middle cowl area, giving it a more sleek style and reducing the width by 1.5 inches.Twin-Spar Aluminum Chassis: The foundation for the Interceptor’s stellar, tack-sharp handling, the twin-spar all-aluminum design is light and strong.New Single-Sided Swingarm: Honda’s Pro Arm single-sided swingarm is a proven design, and the new Interceptor’s swingarm is lighter and mounts the chain and brake disc on one side for easier wheel servicing and tire changes. It looks better too!Radial-Mount Front Brakes: The Interceptor uses radial-mounted monobloc front-brake calipers. This construction makes the caliper stiffer, and that means you get better brake feel for more linear, powerful stopping.LED Headlight: Clear, crisp, compact and bright: the latest LED technology lets the Interceptor’s headlight and unique accent lights do more than just light up the night—it gives the bike a strong styling element. The tail light and turn signals are also brilliant, long-lasting LEDs.New Digital Instruments: The Interceptor’s instruments include a digital speedometer, analog tachometer, gear-position indicator, miles-per-gallon readout, ambient air temperature gauge and a clock.Adjustable Seat Height: Adjustable from 31.8 inches to 31.0 inches, the new Interceptor’s seat fits a wider variety of riders.LED Tail Light: Bright, clear and long-lasting, an LED tail light is the only way to go with a bike as modern as the new Interceptor.EngineEngine Type: 782cc liquid-cooled 90 deg. I have owned this very nice VFR for 36 of the 49K miles on the odometer. Before me, the accomplished wife of a very accomplished motorcyclist in the Atlanta area owned the bike. I bought it in 2005 in absolutely perfect OEM condition. All maintenance, upgrades, modifications, tire changes--everything--has been performed by ME, and that's a very good thing for the next owner. I'm good. And I'm 59, so no silly stuff about this VFR. My last long trip with this bike was ~1500 miles through the Blue Ridge last September (trailering up and back to Florida), with perfect performance throughout. And then I bought a Ducati Multistrada, which will be my new touring bike. My RC51 remains in the stable, serving as the ultimate sportbike. So the reliable, comfortable VFR needs a new home. Here are the things a knowledgeable buyer might want to know about this motorcycle:Front forks are built (by me) for a 200 lb rider, using RaceTech springs, Gold valves, seals, etc. Valve shim stacks for compression [C33] and rebound [R19] are street oriented, not harsh race settings. Forks were upgraded using Honda CBR600 F3 internals, which provide adjustable rebound damping (see photo of fork top), unlike any other VFR out there. Also, see the shop photo that shows OEM springs and fork parts on top, and Racetech springs and F3 parts on the bottom. I have worked and adjusted these forks to supple, controlled perfection.Shock is an expensive Penske, perfectly sprung for a 200 lb rider. I set compression at "1" for plush highway use and "3" for sportriding in the twisty stuff. (see photo) I have developed preload settings for single or two-up riding. Tires are Pilot Road 4s, with ~1500 miles on them, mounted and balanced by me on September 10, 2014. (see photos)Brake pads are EBC HH. As good as it gets.Shifter detent upgraded using the Factory Pro kit, EVO H-91 (see photo, upgraded unit kit is shown on the right). Huge improvement in shifting, and eliminates the "false neutral" that these bikes (actually the rider!) sometimes have. 1999 headers (no cat converter) that have been treated with JetHot Coating. Muffler is an 18 inch (full-length) Delkevic for nice mellow sound (not loud!). O2 eliminators added to wiring harness for zero fuel injection error codes.Corbin seat, with yellow piping. 100% more comfortable than the awful OEM seat, and looks great, too.Throttlemeister cruise control (with heavy bar ends).Frame sliders (these are the rare "thru the radiator opening" units, see photos). These sliders will NOT save your bike from any damage if you crash it, but a slipped foot and a resulting "driveway drop" will only damage your ego. Spare clutch, brake, shift, and rear brake levers come with the bike. I keep them under the seat at all times in a cloth bag. You never know....Headlights--OEM bulbs replaced with Sylvania SilverStars. (Better white light, not ugly blue.)Fuse block (with plenty of open slots, see photo) triggered by relay to battery, so that all accessories "power off" with ignition. Automobile horns (hi & lo tones) triggered by relay from fuse block (see photo). You'll really get noticed!Heated grips--Dual Star brand. Grips are fed from the fuse block. You cannot accidentally leave them "ON" when you park the bike.Cooling fan on regulator/rectifier, and three prong connector to alternator has been removed and hardwired. Zero electrical problems, ever. K&N air filter. Seems to stay clean forever.Gearing--15/45 versus the OEM 16/43 sprockets. Acceleration change is dramatic versus a stock VFR, and top speed is still 143 mph.SpeedoHealer, perfectly calibrated to show the exact road speed on dashboard with the sprocket gearing change described above (see photo, to the rear of the rectifier).Steering head bearings--recently replaced with All Balls tapered roller bearing, and will last forever. Front calipers fully rebuilt with OEM Honda parts at the 35K mark. Just because I wanted to. Chain--about 10K miles, still in perfect condition. I drench the chain with DuPont Chainsaver Teflon lube every 250-300 miles, then I wipe it clean. Then a little more Chainsaver.Plugs, injectors, manifold boots, FI sensors, coolant, PAIR valve blockoff, "Starter Valve" synchronization, and a host of other mid-life maintenance items performed in March 2013. Engine is flawless, mpg is about 42. YMMV.Shoei RF 1000 helmet comes with the bike, in the exact yellow of the bike, size Large. Only briefly used in 2011, as all my communication and radar detector gear was in my Shoei X-11 helmet and it stayed there, so the yellow lid sat in a cabinet. If you don't want it, I'll toss it.Garage-kept its entire life, plugged into a Battery Tender. Lots of paperwork/receipts go with the bike, or I'll toss it. Owners manual, too.I can be available to help with the logistics of shipping at my end, subject to scheduling that works for me.

I am selling my 1995 VFR 750. The bike has only 17,000 miles on it and the tires have 1000 of them. This bike typically gets 45 MPG. Title is in hand and it's never been wrecked. Garage kept all of the time I've had it and from the looks of it, when previous owners have had it (little to no rust anywhere). I have had the bike for two years now but looking to sell it for some extra money. This bike is a very popular bike and was voted vest 750cc bike from Cycle World six years in a row this model year being one of them. It is a very smooth ride even at higher speeds, has great maneuverability, sounds amazing (gear-driven cams), has enough power to keep you entertained, and is more comfortable than a CBR (can ride the thing for longer than 2 hours). This motorcycle does have CARBS in them! But they have been synced and have done well ever since I've gotten the bike. They are not as bad at all. I actually prefer carbs because there is a slight delay in the throttle response. Not enough to ruin a take-off or notice but it helps lessen the jerkiness you get when going over bumps compared to a fuel injected bike. This motorcycle can be used by experienced or in-experienced riders (as long as you took the MSF course). I got this bike as my first bike and just went through the whole MSF training/maneuvers from start to finish in a parking lot before I transitioned to back roads then main roads at night then finally daily riding. It is possible to have this be your first bike you just have to practice. Here is a list of what the bike has:1995 VFR 750 4th Gen1. Two Brothers exhaust2. Jetting for the after-market exhaust3. Michelin Pilot Power Front Tire (1000 miles on it)4. Michelin Pilot Road 2 Rear Tire (1000 miles on it) On forums and reviews, these tires are the known to be the best for this type of motorcycle.5. Light kit (8 Different Strips of LED lights (white)) These were installed so you couldn't see them from looking at the bike but still gives it a nice look. I also did it so people could see me at night!6. K&N reusable air filter7. Updated regulator/rectifier8. Newer Battery ( 2 year old, will throw in battery tender for you) Here is a list of what's been done to it currently1. Chain cleaned (May 2014)2. Carbs cleaned (Two weeks ago) Didn't really need it but I just took them apart and cleaned them out to make sure the jets were fine and everything was good to go.3. Flushed coolant (two weeks ago)4. Checked spark plugs (All within spec and looked good. Book asks for 0.8 to 0.9 mm, this was 0.85. No oil or crusty junk on the spark plug, otherwise I would have replaced all of them). (Two Weeks Ago)5. Resealed the front cylinder head cover with a new gasket (Two Weeks Ago)6. New Oil and Oil Filter (Two Weeks Ago)7. Replace the rear cylinder head cover bolts due to them being stretched (Today) These are important because a broken bolt in an aluminum block is no fun. 8. Bled brakes (Two Years ago) and they are still perfect. Mechanically, this bike is excellent especially for being from 1995. This bike has very low miles on it at 17,000 and they are known to easily go into the 50,000 to 60,000s (conservative number) and I've heard they are common to go above 100,000. The plastics are in good condition but they do have a few cracks (20 year old plastic). Where the cracks are, I have strengthened the internal face of where the cracks are at with epoxy/fiberglass so the cracks do not grow any more. The cracks aren't in a noticeable spot on the bike though. There are a few small specs of paint gone from the tank but the tank has no dents whatsoever. Overall, this bike is in very good condition and would be a great motorcycle for anyone from daily driving, riding aggressively, riding twisties, or even track days if you really wanted to. If you want to come out, check it out, and ride it, no joy rides, no inexperienced riders (must be endorsed! or have an endorsed friend ride it to let you know how it is), and must have money in hand!!! Also, no trades and no low-ball offers! I can send you a video of the motorcycle running if you would like to hear it run to get an idea. $2400 OBOThings I will throw into the deal: One helmet, 2 Jackets, One Battery Tender, Fiberglass/Epoxy Resin if you want it , Extra Head Cover Bolts, and soft side bags More Pictures Available at ***dayton.craigslist.org/mcy/4684349704.html***

2002 Honda Interceptor VFR800F, Gorgeous and FAST VFR800. Always garaged and covered. This bike has truly been my baby until my human baby arrived so now this can be yours. Extremely low miles at 9,800. Great tires, brakes, hard saddle bags, Sargent World Sport Seat Black W/Red Accent, seat cowl, Power Commander fuel injection/ chrome exhaust pipes, 2 Matching "CORSAIR" helmets, backpack, battery charger, service manual, cover, original seat and exhaust in case you want to go stock, clean title, and more. This bike is a HUGE eye magnet everywhere it goes. The pictures don't do it justice. Craigslist images are super compresses and soft. Its really vibrant "Ferrari" Red, especially in the sun. It sickens me to sell so I won't unless its the price is good enough. If you want a bike that just gets you to work this aint it. If you want a bike that's incredibly fun, gets a lot of attention (which is why I got it) this is it. The price reflects the bike and all of the extras it has. Sure you can get an Interceptor of the same year of $3 grand but it'll have a lot more miles and is stock. Blah. $4,000.00 3103399955
