I have a 2012 Suzuki GSXR 1300 Hyabusa for sale in which I purchased brand new from my local Motorcycle dealer. I am the one and only owner of this bike. This bike only has a little over 1100 miles on it and has been kept in my garage from day one. I have included in this offer the matching helmet that came with the bike (XXL). The Bike has LED lighting up underneath the complete bike for nighttime in which in controlled via remote control. I also am including a "Trickle Charger" to keep the bike plugged in when you are not riding it. I just put a brand new, Fresh Battery in it so you are good to go. I will like to add that due to Liability & Insurance Purposes, I will not allow any type of "Test Riding" of this bike! if you are looking to purchase a bike such as this you already know what's it's capable of! I'm a larger type guy and best way to describe it is being strapped to a "Rocket"! however you have to truly "Respect" that power as a Rider and ride sensibly. It's the Fastest Production Bike made. I have never Raced it nor rode it stupidly in any way. I had the bike "Custom Painted" by a local well known Painter here locally. What little bit I have ridden this bike it never seems to fail from turning heads and girls wanting to be taken for a ride. If you have been considering or thinking of purchasing you a "Crotch Rocket" type bike, This is the one! you won't be disappointed I promise you that. My last ride was a "Benefit" ride here locally and got tons of compliments on the bike however as you can see by the mileage, it truly sits in my garage more then I ride it. If you have any type of questions please don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best to answer them. I have thousand's of dollars more invested in this bike then I am asking for it, trust me. I just truly want to give someone a great deal on a practically brand new bike and see them get the use out of it. I have no desire to make any type of "Trades" of any source, purchase only! Thank You very Much!

Do you ever see a short description and think, "that's it?'' Well, I would like to avoid that but first... Some history of the bike... It all started when a friend offered to let me ride his '08 Drz400s. (not the supermoto version) I just had to have one after that and I take expenditures seriously but it was something I was passionate about and still am. throttle response, seat height, engine size, gear shifting... everything seemed right and this was going to be my first street bike, so I began the arduous search and took up an extra job while I was searching... 6 months later I found "thumper" with a nice couple over 7 hours away. I had the money saved up for a nice down payment and I financed the rest so away I went to test ride and check it out. needless to say, I drove back home with it that day. I was excited the whole way home and now, here it is... 3 1/2 years later and I've only put 1,500 miles or so... I am selling because I have moved and my situation is different so I don't use the bike. it's been sitting without much riding until just recently when I put a new battery in it. If I was going to keep it, I would tag it, insure it, put a new back tire on it, maybe an oil change and away I would go! But alas, I need the cash more than I need the bike right now. It's never been wrecked or "downed". the seat is perfectmounted toolbag and all tools included2 ignition keys 2 steering lock keysI have and HJC helmet that comes with the bike.New K&N oil filter included2 new quarts Castrol Power RS Racing 4T 10w40 full synthetic Up for your viewing pleasure is this 2009 Suzuki DrZ 400sm... in my humble opinion... the funnest Super Moto in the world. Its the only REAL motorcycle I've ever owned. I had a 1979 Yamaha dirtbike when I was 22 (given to me as a bonus from my boss at the time and had a lot of fun in my backyard on a little hill I built up. Me and my cousin jumped it and had much fun... ) and I had a piece of crap awesome little moped when I was 15. However, this is a big boys toy for sure which brings us back to the DrZ 400sm you see here... I rode a buddies 08 DrZ 400 one day and right then I knew I wanted one. So I took up a 3rd job and started hitting youtube, forums, researching relentlessly to find THAT right one... so finally after months of anticipation, working and saving money and drooling over posted photos, I drove Over 6 hours one way to meet the guy and give it a test ride.. I was not disappointed... the original owner was a girl so she had babied this bike like crazy... after dinner and some chatting, I handed her cash and she handed me the title to "THUMPER'' as she named it.. (I still had the keys from earlier and the helmet too, which I still have... ) now I've had this bike for over 3 yrs... I've only had it on the open highway for less than a few miles and I didn't go over 70.. I cruise it around town every once in a while and it turns heads every time. Its been an absolute pleasure owning this bike and girls like it too... since I don't ride it a lot and it sits in the garage mostly, the battery is completely dead. Luckily its hilly around here so I can still start it easily and ride occasionally. There is an option to install a kickstarter as well... that's another thing about this bike.. its so customizable! I wanted to get a new pipe for it, like a yoshi or gun but it sounds baddass without the baffle... Its all stock right now... it will need a new back tire soon (see photos) HAS A CLEAR TITLE never wrecked or "downed".. I believe the 09 was the last U.S. model DrZ 400sm until 2015... The red and silver accents really pop with the black and chrome... it has a little over 4k miles and I would need a hot battery to check the mileage for sure... the bike runs clean and tight and gets good gas mileage. I'm ready to sell because I need the cash. Simple as that. If I had the means, I would change the oil and filter, slap a new tire on "THUMPER'' and rip ass down the road... so this is your opportunity to purchase a baddass bike! All SERIOUS and FAIR offers will be considered. I wrote the above over a year ago and still have not sold this bike. Truth is, I haven't even started to advertise it yet... over a year! As a side note, any hype that may be perceived here is because of my genuine enjoyment of owning this super moto and my subsequent sadness to see it go... I'm writing this over a year later and there she sits in the garage with a thin layer of dust gathering under the "horse blanket"... I almost fired it up today but I would have to jump it off with the truck. It will start warm while rolling down a hill but it's been sitting for a awhile now, is cold and will need to be choked... maybe tomorrow I'll go for a bit of a spin and blow the cobwebs out, heh heh Now its the next day and I walk out to where the bike is parked and notice a dirt dobber trying to build a nest in the muffler. The nerve! Well, I should have put the baffle back on but this offers the perfect opportunity to jump this thing off and fire it up... now, to get the jumper cables... I hooked it up to the truck, turned the key, pulled the choke, gave it some throttle and hit the start button... 2 to 3 seconds of cranking and off she roars just like before. Now she's warming up and purring like a kitten.. now to give some throttle... she growls a little... such a damn good looking bike too with the black and chrome and barb wire graphics. Looking at it from the throttle side view... hmm, perhaps a short ride is due but I shouldn't go far cause if it dies... there's no truck nearby to jump it off so I'll just stick to the grass of my yard and a country driveway... Well its the next day and here's what happened... I went for that ride and I couldn't stand it, I had to get it on the open road and open it up a little. It was going smooth as ever, down the road a couple of miles from my house, so I turn around and head back... shifting thru the gears, enjoying the countryside ride and then there's my driveway! But man I just started... I need to put gas in this thing... screw it, hammer down a little and past the driveway of my house. So I get down the road and past the curve and figure I'll turn around about a mile up... nope... she sputters and lurches like she's out of gas, rumbles a little like a bumble bee and then dies... Home is miles back! But there's a gas station down the road about a half mile... crap! I don't even have my wallet, no phone and I'm not leaving this bike on the side of the road in the middle of backwoods mississippi... so I push... and make it to the stop sign by the county road. The store is down this road another quarter mile and hopefully, I might find some help there... so I push again and man are my legs burning but I'm making it ok. I didn't intend to get a work out just now and I should have hydrated before I left. Luckily I had eaten breakfast... I make it to the store and I'm thinking what the heck could it be? There's a little gas sloshing in the tank, its gotta be the dead battery... So I'm at the store for a while and the guy there doesn't have any cables so I run to the other store that I passed already while pushing the bike. He tells me,"no cables" but for me to come back and someone will stop and help... so I went to the other store where my bike sits, dead. And push it up the hill to the driveway of that store where the man said someone will help... as I'm pushing it into the drive, a guy in a white car says, "need some help?" I ask if he has jumper cables, "yeah"... Freakin sweet, so I take off the shrouds to get to the battery and we hook it up... it cranks a bit and fires right up when the gas hits... I thanked the man sincerely and took off for home like a bat out of hell. I didn't want to risk it dying again... which it did, just down the road about a half mile. Luckily, the guy and his wife who helped me before, was behind me and he stops and asks if the fuel is on reserve... he had a 3 wheeler that ran better on reserve... why didn't I think of that in the first place! I switched it over and silly me, thinking about it now, I could have just done that in the first place and pushed it down the hill, hopped on and popped the clutch. Another idea is to install a kickstarter but there's no money for that. well its free to hook it up again, he says. I agreed and the DrZ roars to life once more! I tore off for home again at a steady pace, thinking please let it just be the fuel... Which it was. I fueled it up a little while ago and rode around the yard, in the grass, up the hill, peeling out a little and getting sideways in the wet grass with zero issues then I got brave and ventured a little further... down my driveway and all seems to be well. Throttling up on the open road, steady as she goes and switching gears smoothly... no issues still but I don't wanna risk it, so I turn around and head back the other way, past my driveway and a couple miles down the road again but not quite to the store... so I head for home thinking this may be my last ride if I sell this thing... I cruise back, shifting thru the gears smoothly, just listening to the purr of the motor and made it up my driveway a little too soon for my liking cause its a great day for riding. So I tear around the yard a little, just glad it didn't die again cause its such a nice bike as I'm parking it in the shed and putting the blanket back over it... If I didn't need the money and I had the money to put into, it would have the best battery, a baddass exhaust, spankin new tires, LED low profile light kit installed on the rear, a kickstarter would be on the list too. And last but not least, an oil change and a good round of cleaning on the carb... The mileage managed to pop up for a minute, I guess the battery got a little charge to it. The display flickers since the battery is dranged but the mileage was 4 thousand, 3 hundred something (4,3oo+) it hasn't been ridden many miles since I parked it due to the dead battery... As you can likely tell, I'm attached to this bike in a way and I don't need the money THAT badly. I also know its value in todays market. I don't expect to get rich off of it but hopefully this story will deter most lowballers. As I said, I will entertain all serious and fair offers. Or this could end up at auction... I might even consider a trade for a 3 wheeler or a 4 wheeler in riding condition and some cash because I do enjoy tearing around a little, besides it could come in handy around this place for dragging limbs and such for cutting up when I build a fire at night sometimes... Also worthy of note, an exchange of money between two people is an interesting thing, especially when its more than a dollar or 2... I understand the emotions behind spending a sum of money on something and its a shame this is the case, if I could, I would give it away, just to see someone elses life enriched with an experience that only I could give. In a sense anyway... But that's not the way we do things, its an agreement between 2 people that extends beyond the boundaries of time. An exchange of a handshake and something of value in the trade. For the benefit of both parties sake and everyone walks away, a winner in some small way or maybe that's just how I see it. In any case, come one! Come all! I have more photos upon request and would even take photos of something specific upon request. I have done my best to explain the condition of the DrZ400sm and given my thoughts as to what it needs to be "top notch" in my little opinion. I understand the value of these things and also know the cost involved just to get it "street ready". Let us begin this dance, older than time. I'm not a salesman or anything, I'm just good at putting together a rhyme. I do it all the time, now let's see if this motorcycle is worth a shiny dime. I will entertain the idea of shipping this bike if the buyer wants to pay for it or somehow negotiate that as part of the deal struck but I would rather meet up. I wish you all, the best of luck. Holy crap! As I'm sitting here and editing this outside chilling in a chair and getting chewed by mosquitoes... this old giant tree, falls right in front of me. The creaking... the splintering of wood as it begins to topple, changing the outline of the sky in an instant as it crashes to the ground with the sound of splintering wood... time to survey but that's a story for another day... Pm me if interested in the supermoto and thanks for reading my story. This was my first street bike and I put around 1,500 fun filled miles on this motorcycle. Did I mention I purchased it from a girl? This is truly a great bike for anyone. I'm 5'10 140 lbs soaking wet and I've had to push this bike several miles when I was having battery issues and another time I ran out of fuel. It was work and I broke a sweat but I was able to manage it. It has a brand new battery now and I ride it around my yard and down my driveway and back so it may have a few more miles on it when/ if it sells. Another thing I love about this bike is the wide aftermarket support for it. they're extremely customizable. If you have any questions, please ask them. More photos available on request. thanks for looking and have a great day! p.s.Local pickup is preferred but if buyer wants to pay for shipping and set it up, no problem. we can figure it out.

It has some nostalgia to it. Other than being fast, loud, and fun to ride, you could pretty much make up all kinds of stories about this bike. It's been very well taken care of, and has extremely low miles. Our full service shop rebuilt the carburetor and fully inspected the bike and man is it a nice running ride. It's got a fresh oil change and has one of those shiny chrome oil filters change on it too. It also had done what is referred to as a 'Top End'. The work order calls it a 'R&R FRONT BASE GASKET' That was $487.28 my cost. The chain was lubed and adjusted. The acc pump in the carb was serviced. It has new rear brakes and the master cylinder was rebuilt. The rear tire was also serviced. That shop ticket comes to over a thousand bucks with the detail. So, know this, it's ready to ride. I would recommend you come take a look at it and bring your helmet and riding gear with you. That way you are prepared to ride it home. Talk to the wife before you come over. That will save you a lot of time. This 'I gotta go talk the wife' is getting to be a wore out old excuse. You man enough to ride this home and show her what you just bought or are you just gonna continue to blame her for your lack of decision making? Let's do this already. Don't bring your store bought vest with all those 99 cent patches on it. We are looking to sell this to a real biker. Wannabes' can take the back of the line.
