On a whim, they designed and built a small dirt bike for one of their kart racing customers. In 1963 the Blendzall company commissioned Van Tech to produce a 100cc race bike for one of their riders. The bike they created swept the class that year solidifying the VanTichelt’s name as one of the best in the biz. Motoexotica is pleased to present this extremely rare 1966 Honda CB160 road racing motorcycle which features a 161cc four stroke twin cylinder engine and a Van Tech racing frame. The CB750 was a game changer. Our goals for this one were simple: Maintain some of the original look and feel, see how much weight we could take off this baby without loosing any of the nice 'features', make it go faster, make it stop quicker, and make it look good doing it! Official weight of only 422 lbs wet, thats a 23.4% weight reduction! As always, we will be donating a portion the the sale to the No Kid Hungry Campain. Please visit our blog for more photos and details. Specs: Displacement: 736.00 ccm (44.91 cubic inches)Final drive: 530 O-ring chain ConversionFront tire: Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 120/70 R17Rear tire: Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 160/60 R17Front Master Cylinder: Nissin 19mm radialFront brakes: Dual floating disk, 4 piston Nissin CalipersRear brakes: Single disk, single piston Nissin CaliperFront Suspension: Fully adjustable CBR900RR 45mm forksRear Suspension: Dual gas charged reservoir shocksIgnition: Electronic Hall effect ignition systemGauges: Motogadget Mini / LED oil pressure warningWet Weight: 422 lbs (551.2 lbs Stock)Tank/ Fuel capacity: 1973 CB750 hand shaped scallops/ 4.25 gallons Build Specs: Engine- The engine was low mileage to begin with so we took her apart just to check everything out. A quick freshen up including, lapping the valves, new valve seals, new rings, new seals and gaskets was all that was needed inside. Everything was vapor blasted before painting the cases, polishing the covers and finishing with a brushed effect, and installing new allen head bolts throughout. Frame- Before being powder coated in gloss black, we removed all unnecessary brackets, tabs, and other bits. We also installed a rear hoop section, new seat mounts, a new electronics tray, relocated the shock mounts, and added mounts for the rear sets Intake, Exhaust, and Lubrication- We stuck with the original carbs but rebuilt and rejetted them after vapor blasting to accommodate the new 4 into 1 exhaust and K&N air filters. We did away with the old oil tank and fabbed up a new low profile one that acts as the rear fender and opens up the middle of the bike a bit. We also made new oil lines to send and receive the lube. We saved the plans for the oil tank if you would like to order one, available in aluminum. Suspension- We mounted up front forks and triple from a CBR900RR Fireblade and installed dual gas charged shocks in the rear. The forks are preload, damping, and compression adjustable while the shocks are adjustable using a spanner and gas. With the new shock mounts and forks, the bike now has killer stance. We also fabbed up a new fork brace that holds the removable front fender. Lighting, Controls, and Gauges- Up front we have a new headlight with built in turn signals that sits on custom aluminum brackets. We mounted the Motogadget Mini Gauge (speedo, tach, odo, time, trip) in the headlight bucket to reduce clutter. Mounted into the top clamp we now have a LED oil pressure light (we figured if you cant find neutral or remember to turn off your signals then whats the use). We used the same clip-ons from the Fireblade and put in a new set of control switches for a CB750K0. A new set of grips, custom made cables, and bar end sliders complete the cockpit. The rear sets are also from the Fireblade and are mounted up to the frame via new frame mounts and machined the rearset guards. In back we have an integrated LED tail/ brake/ and turn signal set up. Powering everything is a super light Shorai battery. We installed a new reg/rec unit, new starter solenoid, flasher relay for the LEDs, electronic ignition, and reworked the wiring harness. We knew that removing the starter motor would be an easy way to reduce weight, but its nice to have the finer things in life, so we decided to keep it. Body, Tank, and Seat- We started with a tank from an earlier CB and hand shaped the scallops. We put a new thumb lever cap on and a new petcock. The seat is a one of a kind fiberglass unit that we made to follow the basic shape of the rear of the tank. We had the guys coat them with Speed Green before adding the swooping lines that you may recognize from a CB350. The seat pan was upholstered here in Santa Fe by B&M upholstery and paint was shot by Munoz Customs. The headlight bucket, exhaust, and front fender all have the same textured black finish. We saved the seat mold if anyone wants to order one. Brakes, Wheels, Tires- There are now dual floating discs up front and a single disk in the rear. Dual four piston Nissin calipers handle the duty's in front pumped by a 19mm Nissin radial master cylinder, and a single piston Nissin in the back. Custom brake lines are S/S braided. The bike is running on Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires front and rear riding on 17 inch Honda wheels that were coated in gloss black. An added benefit of using the newer wheels is that they have the 'cush drive' which reduces stress on your transmission. We also did a 530 chain conversion, which uses the stock Fireblade sprocket sizes and reduces weight. *Included with the bike: Manuals for Motogadget gauge, Nissin master cylinder, and Shorai Battery. Set of plugs, tool kit, extra key, jetting for your location, and detailed maintenance instructions. **Shipping: Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will be happy to help in any way I can including, giving names and numbers of companies I have used in the past, and holding the bike for up to 1 month after payment is received to allow for more time to set up shipping if needed. ***Payment: A deposit of $1000 is due within 24 hrs of auction close. Payment in full is due within 14 days of auction close. The bike, title, etc. will not be released until payment is received and cleared. We will accept Check, Money Order, Cash, or Credit Card. Credit cards will be charged a 2.7% fee.

1975 Honda CB200T CB200 with less than 2,900 mile on the odometer, beefed up and upgraded in a few areas, and Ready to Ride! See and hear Black Bart on YouTube: http://youtu.be/C1MrQuvIP3E Selling this bike for a guy in South Carolina that had me "lay hands" on the bike. The bike is titled in his name, ready to transfer to the buyer, and that adds value to your vintage Honda motorcycle! At 2,900 miles, this is virtually a new/vintage motorcycle. The turn signal lights have been streamlined to hug close to the bike. Not likely to kick them swinging your leg over the bike, Also makes for a cool compact look. Black aftermarket handlebars are shorter than stock and continue the compact look. Considered Bratting Bart? The seat height on a CB200 is already low enough for almost anyone to ride, so keeping the stock (comfortable) seat in place for the brat mod still gives you a ride that is easy to mount. The from the factory welded in rear fender (front half) is in great condition. Removing the chrome rear fender section and your done and still protecting either open velocity stacks or chrome air pods. Using Jack's invisible battery system, the side cover/battery section can be removed and create the "void" behind the engine, in front of the rear fender. Procedures performed and parts replaced: Carbs cleaned and rebuilt with new brass and rubber throughout Complete top end including valve lapping and cam bearing journal upgrade New Points plate and contact points New Battery New Tires, balanced New Bar end Mirrors Replaced Electric start button and housing, non-OEM New Piston Rings Replaced Cam Shaft Upgraded Cam Journal with Roller Bearing Version (RDL racing, california) Fresh Valve Lapping and Cylinder Hone (Boretech, ohio) New Top End Gasket Set New Battery New Dual Output Ignition Coil New Spark Plug Cables New Resistor Spark Plug Caps New Spark Plugs New Carb Floats New Complete Carb Kits, All New Brass! New Petcock Converted back to good OEM Air Filters OEM Solid State Rectifier Original front DISC brake system works great! Rear brake works great! Fuel tank is original inside and out. Only minor patina to the interior. Exterior has been painted black over red. New fuel lines and petcock with this tank. Matching original side covers (RARE!) in what could be the original matte black finish Original seat in excellent condition. Bart has some rust pitting and some unscathed areas as well. The frame is in very nice shape, minor rusting at some weld joints, otherwise paint is good. Chrome fenders are in very nice shape. Rear shocks are functional, but would make a nice upgrade for both ride handling and aesthetics (Less than $100) Chrome wheels each have a downside as seen in photos. With the wheels rotated 180 degrees, you have a lot of nice curb appeal. (See rim closeup where one section was "test cleaned" to give a feel for what you can expect if you put the energy into it) All electrics work, horn could use some exercise. Missing side stand, nice one on eBay for $100, eBay item number: 201041836241 Center stand is included. Mufflers are a bit on the loud side, but could be stuffed with stainless steel wool for quieting? Kick starter required the right side muffler to be "custom indented" for clearance. Bart could use some love in the area of a WD-40 cleaning, and you'd be glad you did. Or, hop on him and go! Darth is now ready! Different exhaust system in stalled! The video for Darth has been supplemented and now known as "Virginia Kicks Darth". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-13jfszz2f0 FYI, I'm not a motorcycle dealer, but I do have a lot of bikes to sell and I do support them after the sale. As such, I post my personal motorcycles for sale in the dealer section. For vintage motorcycles, you may want to view "All Motorcycles" to find what you are looking for. All my bike sales include: Free Delivery to Metro Atlanta area. One year Cell Phone, Email and Web Link Tech Support I can also resurrect your old motorcycles as well. Twins and singles are the engine configurations I work on. With this custom lowered seat, almost anyone can safely touch the ground with their feet flat on the ground! This custom cafe racer is the continuation of someone else's project. The starter motor was pulled and plugged, the forks were rebuilt and reconfigured, new rear shocks were installed, the front fender/ultra strong fork brace was modified, the swing arm was paint stripped and clear coated, tubes and tires were mounted, clip-ons were installed, engine cases were polished, 2 into 1 header system was created from stock CB350 headers, front drum, front brake plate, front sprocket cover, and rear brake plate had been drilled for cooling, stainless steel Allen head screw conversion installed, new headlight ears mounted, tapered steering stem bearing upgrade installed, and a few other items before I laid hands on it. I added the rear set configuration for both shifting and rear brake, wired the electrical system with modern solid state rectifier, added the cafe seat, added the invisible battery, installed the integrated turn signals with the mirrors and tail light, installed the new halogen headlamp, throttle cable, front brake cable, custom length clutch cable, POR-15 lined fuel tank, VHT epoxy painted tank in matte finish, balanced the wheels, rebuilt the carburetors, tuned up the engine, replaced the drive chain, added the polished aluminum velocity stacks, rebuilt and polished the horn, new kicker rubber, new brake and shifter arms with rear sets, new rear tank rubber mount, Notice the trending void behind the engine by having removed the battery, battery box, side covers, air filters, etc... All color has been removed from the bike leaving only black and metal. Turn signals LEDs are amber, brake and tail lights are red, but only when activated through the smoke lenses. The CL350 Honda was first created in 1968 and every Scrambler came with the traditional Darth Vader tank through the last one produced in 1973. Star Wars was not released until 1977. You take a look at the tail of the CL350 tank and do the math. Darth Bike is a radical ride without the benefit of electric start. I hope to have a lady CB200 rider start the bike in the video to be produced when completed and ready for the photoshoot as well. Will be edited in after her visit. This is my third custom creation since Bike Week Daytona. I have more bikes and have two more custom projects lined up. Contact me to have one built custom for you. Darth was created to be an actual vintage race bike. With only a few modifications, Darth is ready for the track to race in the WERA GP350 and bump up to the GP500 race classes. For more information on vintage racing a 350 Honda in the WERA stocker class, send an inquiry to receive links to my race blog.
