A 650cc single cylinder – with twin carbs and twin mufflers - that’s similar to the BMW F650, except Italian and a 5-valve rather than a 4-valve head. A BMW dealer doing service said this Pegaso would run circles around the F650.  Includes hard case luggage, center stand, Sargent seat, OE and Givi smoked windscreen, MotoBatt battery 1-yr old and shop manual on CD.  Will need a new rear tire.  Runs like a sewing machine.  Quirky Pegaso issues have already been fixed/replaced like steering stem bearings, swing arm pivot bearings and ignition switch.  A very unique bike that will turn heads.  Minor scrapes & scuffs.  Garage kept.  14,500 miles.  Wife got a scooter – need to downsize.  Possible delivery options along I-40, I-64, I-81, I-77, I-79 corridors east, north and north-east of Cookeville, TN.

This Pegaso is in excellent condition with 25K miles. I have owned the bike for 2 years. I replaced the original chain with a premium O-ring chain at 22k miles. The original owner purchased it from a Ducati dealer located on the north side of Milwaukee. He had the original exhaust replaced with a Stain-tune stainless steel dual setup from Australia. The carbs were rejetted by the dealer and the bike runs great the way it should. I put a K&N air filter element in the airbox. The waterpump impeller and thermostat were just replaced because the original impeller was very prone to breaking and very flimsy. The replacement was an upgrade much better. Just to be on the safe side I replaced the thermostat. The bike runs much cooler than it did before so these parts really did the job. I also retorqued the headbolts while I had everything apart because I have heard that this bike can blow a head gasket if that is not done after the first 1000 miles and since this one is at 25k I decided to be on the safe side and do it. I put a new sealed battery in the bike last summer. The bike starts easily with the choke when cold and is a blast to ride. I have 4 bikes so I am reluctantly putting this one up for sale since I can't really justify keeping it. The bike is not perfect and has some scratches and paint chips as you would expect but it has not been beaten and it has been garaged with good maintenance. It is getting close to needing a rear tire, the trip odometer has not worked since I have had the bike but the main odometer works fine. This is a great bike for someone that like something a little different. Easy to ride long distances and great around town too because it is under 400 lbs.

2000 Aprilia Pegaso 650, For Sale is a 2000 Aprilia Pegaso 650 Cube with only about 3600 miles**** ! Aprilia developed this excellent dual sport bike in tandem with BMW, so the latters F650 is mechanically almost identical. Both feature the bulletproof Rotax 650 with 50 horsepower, this thumper was capable of 112 mph and nearly 60 miles per gallon. Aprilia added a few extras that the BMW did not receive, including upgraded brakes, upside-down forks, and interestingly enough, a 5-valve head 3 of the valves were intake. 2000 was the last year the Cube version of the Aprilia Pegaso was imported to the United States. Cube signifies a generation of these bikes that ran from 1997-2004.We serviced the Aprilia throughout and it needs nothing but a new owner! We took a lot of pictures so you can judge for yourself. She is currently driven for test drives, so the mileage at the date of sale might be slightly higher. Email me with any questions or call me at 239-771-0057 (Klaus) or 239-398 4492 (Justin). $2,995.00 2397710057

This is a great bike. Water cooled 650. Both tires new. Aprilia dealer just finished full service including anti freeze flush, oil change, and so on. Runs perfectly. Real dual exhaust for a single cylinder is very unique. You can run the trails or 75 on the Interstate with this bike, without issue. The engine was sourced from BMW (GS 650) and it is bullet proof for sure. Is not a new bike so it has some scratches, but other than that, it is a unmolested stock bike that is in excellent condition. 10,700 miles and runs like a top. No surprises. Not one leak, and in fact not one gasket anywhere is even sweating. Completely tight bike. You will enjoy this bike, fast becoming a collector.

This bike is very similar to the BMW GS 650 in many ways, proportions, functionality, engine and share many parts, better yet fill the standard 5.9 gal. tank and there's no contender on long rides.- Side hard luggage- Power outlet- New Battery- New Tires- New Chain and sprockets- New Brake pads- Carb service and tune up (filters, plugs) ready for summerThis motorcycle is a blast to ride, it has a very powerful Rotax engine in line with KTM and BMW, very stable on highways and turns like a champ on the twisty roads.

For your consideration: A very clean, well maintained Aprilia Pegaso 650 Cube with numerous performance and touring upgrades. This is 1 of 5 Aprilias I have owned and is an exemplary unit demonstrating the marque’s firm entry into the big bike segment. The Pegaso is the predecessor to the BMW F650, which was produced by Aprilia for the German firm from 1993-1999. The Pegaso is an agile, stable, quick machine capable of 2-up touring, unpaved fire roads, or scuffing tires to the edge on winding mountain passes. Main features of the Pegaso 3 include: aluminum twin cradle frame with box steel front section doubling as oil tank; radial five-valve Rotax engine with dry sump lubrication & twin oil pumps; twin Mikuni BST 33 mm carburetors; inverted 40 mm Marzocchi forks; 5.85 gallon fuel tank with low fuel light; alloy rims w/ stainless spokes—19” front, 17” rear; reliable OEM side stand & center stand; 100/90-19 bias ply front, 130/80-17 radial rear tires; twin head pipes & dual exhaust in stainless w/ catalyst; electronic capacitor discharge ignition; floating Brembo brake calipers--twin piston front, single piston rear. I am selling because our needs have changed; my wife no longer rides and I prefer to reduce my vehicle maintenance load. We just completed (end of June) a 250-mile trip two-up w/ luggage down the central Pacific coast & had a blast. The Pegaso performed flawlessly—got 45-46 MPG. Bike was ridden regularly on secondary highways & locally for past 4.5 years. The following upgrades were performed to the bike: GPR titanium/carbon fiber exhaust (12 lbs lighter, +4.5 HP, smooth-progressive power across rev range), Givi tall windscreen, Givi Monolock 37L top case w/ brake light, Aprilia tank bag (expandable, becomes backpack), Euro front turn signals, K&N air filter, Euro light switch (on-off-park), Goodridge braided stainless brake lines, Ferodo SinterGrip HH brake pads, Aprilia optional shock w/ external preload adjustment. The following spares/items are included: All original parts (exhaust, shock, windscreen, air cleaner, turn signal), clutch & throttle cables, complete set of new coolant hoses & clamps, rider footpegs, tubes, original tool kit, Aprilia Use + Maintenance book, 2 sets ignition & top box keys. I have maintenance records going back to 2900 miles. The oil & filter were recently changed (6910 mi) w/ Pentosin 5W40 synthetic. I’ve always used synthetic oil, as did the previous owner. The brakes & coolant were bled every 2 years; valves checked at 4157 mi—all in spec. Tires are Michelin Anakee 2, replaced at 4378 mi in Oct. 2011 w/ new tubes. The chain is in good condition and battery still holds a charge well. The previous owner, a collector, kept the bike in a climate controlled shop for approx. 6 yrs. All my bikes are stored indoors. There are some light scratches on the R handguard, R rear turn signal, L muffler badge, and R side of skid plate—mainly due to my sloppy parking, brushing up against the garage wall & a lightpost on the street. Otherwise no damage is evident. The idle mixture is adjusted for easy starts & quick warmup. The bike exhibits no problems, runs well & is completely reliable. I HAVE SOLD A NUMBER OF BIKES ON EBAY; PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR DETAILS ABOUT MY WELL SATISFIED BUYERS. I WILL ACCEPT CASHIER'S CHECK OR CASH FOR FINAL PAYMENT, HOWEVER BIKE & TITLE WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL PAYMENT CLEARS MY BANK OR FUNDS ARE VERIFIED. I AM ABLE TO ASSIST WITH LOADING & SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS. PLEASE HAVE FINANCES IN ORDER PRIOR TO MAKING AN OFFER. THANK YOU.

1997 Bmw F 650 ST, F650ST Strada - The BMW F650 F650ST Strada were introduced to Europe in 1993 and to the United States in 1997. The bikes were jointly designed by BMW and Aprilia, who launched their model as the Pegaso. The BMW bikes, which were built in Italy by Aprilia, were powered by an Austrian 652 cc single-cylinder Rotax engine. It was the first BMW motorcycle with chain drive. The F650ST Strada has an 18 inch front wheel for better handling on the street than it's brother the F650 Funduro. PLEASE NOTE: Givi sidecases are not included. The genuine BMW topcase IS included. This bike has been properly lowered by a certified BMW technician.
