2004 Aprilia Atlantic with 11xxx miles. Tires in great shape, new OEM drive belt, 22g Dr. Pully Slider weights, upgraded voltage regulator, drives beautifully and looks snazzy. I have too many of these bikes, need to make room in garage. Clear OR title in my name with brand new tags. This scoot has had all the AA500 issues dealt with and is a solid, reliable scooter that will run for many many years to come. 95mph top speed. I recently rode this scooter to Joseph, OR and it did phenominally on I-84. Rear shocks are upgraded Sachs brand. This scooter has no paint shaker, overheating, gas boiling issues, stalling, or any of the other BS that the earlier bikes and/or bikes that weren't taken care of had. I had an aftermarket Leo Vince pipe on this bike and it would do a GPS verified 100mph! Use the Buy it Now and I will include a Givi top case with platform (all you need is the Givi rear deck part for this scooter) and a new-ish Givi tall windscreen.

This is a really awesome scooter. I am honestly just looking for something bigger (would consider trade). I want to get as close to my asking price as I can.Since I have owned this scooter from last year - I put a brand new front tire on it, adjusted the shocks, put a brand new gel battery in it, replaced the fuel pump, and installed a regulator from a parted out Ducati. This scooter is ready to ride and could go anywhere without a problem. Since the fixes I have done to this I could easily do a 200mi trip in a day. The regulator issue on this model was a common problem - however after being fixed it runs really really well.Currently I have taken the Givi Box off and am selling that separately - but would be taken into consideration and included if the right deal was made. I purchased from the original owner - it was garage kept - I have the title in hand. This would be great for someone looking for a little bit of easier handling. It is seriously a great scooter - it has a vespa / piaggo engine in it.I have a clean title in hand ready for transfer.This is a very cool scooter. I have a really great running scooter for sale. Its liquid cooled, fuel injected, 4 stroke 500cc long distance scooter....... The scooter has new tires, new oil, new windshield that I bought a few months ago, new brakes. The original miles of the scooter are 11,000 miles but the speedometer shows 56,000 kilometers because I bought gauges for it in Italy, I have receipts to prove it. Atlantic 500 also bests the competition with the use of a steering damper & a 15 front wheel (versus 14) to make the Atlantic 500 a confident handling bike. Front forks are also large diameter (40mm) & the rear shocks are dual adjustable gas shocks. Engine In terms of performance, the Atlantic 500 uses a Piaggio 460cc engine that shines in both fuel economy & power for its size. The 460cc motor used in the Atlantic 500 makes 39hp which achieves great acceleration in a machine this light & a top speed near 100mph. Its hard to argue that you need more power than that. This engine is a proven reliable performer that achieves about 50 mpg, while its larger competitors typically achieve closer to 40mph. That can be a big difference if youre covering a lot of miles. Discussion Overall, the Atlantic 500 is good scooter for someone interested in an affordable used maxi-scooter. The asking price back in 2004 was $6499 which is about what youd expect. Thats in line with the offerings from the Japanese manufacturers which is impressive when you consider that Aprilia is a smaller Italian make. Used Atlantic 500s are often sold for quite reasonable prices & they are long lived scooters, so if you can find one & youre looking for something a bit different then pull the trigger.
