It comes with the 2 year (from purchase date) standard factory warranty. It has only <450 mi on odometer. I have 7 bikes; too many to handle. Aprilia, the Italian motorcycle and scooter maker, started out making small displacement machines and, though it has branched out since then, continues to produce its share of well-regarded scooters. Owned by Piaggio, which also owns Vespa, Aprilia introduced its SportCity 250 to the U.S. market in 2007. In 2009, the company expanded the line of step through scooters, adding the SportCity 50 and SportCity 125. The SportCity 50 has a 49.9cc, aircooled, singlecylinder, fourstroke engine; the 125 model uses a 124.9cc, singlecylinder, fourstroke, aircooled engine. Both are carbureted. The SportCity 250 runs on a 244cc, liquidcooled, singlecylinder, fourstroke engine with fuel injection. All three models have an SOHC valve configuration, as well as the continuously variable transmission that is standard for scooters. Telescopic forks provide the front suspension; a twin sided swing arm and an adjustable spring preload shock make up the rear suspension in all models. The SportCity 50 and 125 have a single disc brake in front and a drum brake in back. The larger and heavier 250 has dual disc brakes, with twin piston floating calipers in the front and an 8.7inch disc in the rear. All three versions have plastic bodywork sheathing steel frames, and upper and lower fairing is standard, as are front and rear fenders. A two piece seat, for driver and passenger, is 30.5 inches high for the 50 and 125 scooters; the 250’s seat is 32 inches high. For all models, the driver uses the floorboard; the passenger has foot pegs that fold back tidily into the frame when not in use. The instrument panel offers a generous array of information: a clock, fuel gauge, speedometer, odometer, trip computer, and temperature warning light are standard.

However they were sold here for track use only owing to their not meeting current USA emission standards.  I actually sat on one at the 2009 Chicago Motorcycle show and was amazed at its comfort and light weight.  At the time I regretted that the RS 125s were not sold in the US with street titles.

Great condition. Well maintained w/ records to show. Clean title in hand. 998 CC rotax engine which has a reputation for being reliable. Brand new this bike generated around 125 HP at the wheel. I have never had any problems w/ this bike and I have always kept it garaged.  Very comfortable after market Sargent seat. I have ridden it from the east bay to Monterey w/out a break. Full Arrow Titanium exhaust. A little loud for my taste, but I'm getting old.   I installed LED supplemental turn signals and brake lamps in the back because a prior owner had removed the stock signals for the aftermarket exhaust. The brake lamps had been wired to serve as the tail lamps, brake lamps and turn signals. This was not bright / safe enough for me so I purchased and installed the LEDS. Frame and bar-end sliders. Zero Gravity wind screen. Dynojet Power Commander installed. 25,000 miles and time for service. There is a small (approx. 1 inch) scratch on the tank that is shown in the photos. Otherwise beautiful w/ only the minor, tiny flecks that you have to look for. If you want to ride you must bring: Cash for the purchase price, M1 California Driver's License, proof that you have been insured on another motorcycle.

THE MOTORCYCLE With its 65° V4 engine brazenly flaunted and framed by the brushed aluminum twin spar frame, the Tuono V4 is a naked clad only with the bare minimum necessary to let you saddle up and teach it to respond to your will. Adding yet another touch of aggressiveness is the aerodynamic top fairing tipped with two polyelliptical headlights and LED indicators at the sharp end, which gives the bike the unequivocally mean, daunting stare that you'd expect from a machine with an incredible 167.3 horsepower. Tuono V4 boasts more power than ever seen before in a naked, achieved by reconfiguring the V4 engine of the RSV4 to make it better suited to street use.The features inherited by the Tuono V4 from the RSV4 include the exhaust system with bypass valve, which is two kilos lighter than the system used on the RSV4 R, and latest generation Ride by Wire throttle control with three rider-selectable maps (Track, Sport and Road). The first three gear ratios are now shorter, while the maximum torque (82 ft. lbs.) is on tap at 9,500 rpm: characteristics that make the Tuono V4 a wild beast at low and mid-engine speeds, with the ability to unleash a devastating hurricane of power at higher engine speeds. 2009 Aprilia Sportcity 250, Bike is in good condition. 4557 miles. the only thing that I can see wrong with it is the left headlight is out but thats an easy fix. his motor is a nice design that utilizes 4-valves, liquid cooling and fuel injection to deliver solid power and mileage for its size.
