I am reluctantly offering my 2009 Buell 1125CR up for sale due to the fact that I no longer have much time to ride. First of all let me say this is not your average 1125CR, I have upgraded many parts. I have invested over $10,000 into this bike and if you want one like this, you will do the same. I am the second owner, I purchased the bike with 55xx miles and it currently has 8270 miles, they may go up but most likely won't because I have has no time to ride. I purchased it and it was a stock bike, since then I have installed these upgrades: -Upgraded EBR charging system (new stator, EBR rotor, and regulator/rectifier) this upgrade alone cost $2500 and was performed by Brighton Harley Davidson. When I purchased the bike to my surprise, the stator overheated and took out the charging system, if you know these 1125's you know this is very common and will most likely happen to a bike with the stock system (keep in mind this bike only had 55xx miles when this happened) Harley will not take care of it and you will end up having to pay out of pocket. All of this has been fixed by certified techs. -Evo tech fender eliminator kit -Carbon fiber radiator shrouds (not cheap!) -Carbon fiber exhaust guard -Jardin exhaust system (sounds incredible, best sounding exhaust for this bike in my opinion and not obnoxiously loud) -Saddleman suede rider and passenger seat -Billet bar end mirrors -New battery last year -New Pirelli Diablo rear tire at 7500 miles -New rear brake pads at 7500 miles -Tank protector -Carbon fiber license plate bracket -K&N high flow air cleaner -Buell logo frame decals/protectors And probably more I'm forgetting. I set this bike up to be bad. The front tire is original but has a solid season left in it. All of my buddies on inline 4s get jealous of the look, sound and horrifying torque of this beast. It runs, rides and shifts great. Handles like nothing else with the short wheel base. I changed the oil at 8000 miles with full synthetic Amsoil and will include 4 extra oil filters. I also have all of the factory stock parts that are included with the sale besides the radiator shrouds. Please note that this bike did gently tip over, I was pulling into my buddies house after his gravel road was freshly grated, long story short I was rolling about 5 mph, the front wheel dug into a pile of sand in front of his driveway and the bike got out from under me. I tried to keep it up but the bike did hit the ground. The ONLY parts that were affected by this were the left side shroud (which i have since replaced with carbon fiber) and the stator cover. The only thing that shows scratches on the bike is the stator cover (as pictured), other than that the bike is flawless. It purely caused minor cosmetic damage, it has NO affect on the integrity of the bike. That being said you can only see the scratches if you really look hard and the bike can be %100 if one wishes to replace the stator cover. This bike is as clean as a whistle! has never seen rain, maintained with absolute care. A true piece of beautiful American engineering. They did not make many of these 1125s and since Buell was cut from Harley, many people are speculating that these are the next big collectable bike. Don't buy a cookie cutter rice burner just for it to loose value, 10 years from now who knows what these Buells would be worth! I would love to keep it but I am not a rich man. You will not be disappointed in this one. The pictures do it no justice. Like I said if you buy a stock one and want it to be like this one, you'll be paying for it in the long run. I am taking a big hit but thats how it goes. Feel free to make a reasonable offer, I am a motivated seller but that being said I will not give it away. Everything you see in the pictures is included, clean title in hand, as well as receipts, paperwork, owners manual, etc... Feel free to call me if you're a serious buyer. 810 599 3224
