**2006 HONDA CRF450R EXCELLENT** *CONDITION WITH LOW MILES* I purchased this bike BRAND NEW in 2006 rode it a few times on the trails the first 2 years and then BROKE MY ARM (not riding) forcing me to hang up my boots and store my bike in the garage. I haven't had the motivation to get back out there like I intended, just a few trail rides here and there so I am cutting my ties until a future date when I am ready to get back into it. Tags and registration are up to date, I own the bike free and clear and have the TITLE IN HAND. The last time I rode this bike was in the sand dunes about 9 months ago (first and only time ever in the sand), hence the paddle tire still on it. I have the original dirt tire as well and it does come with the bike I usually start it every 2 months ride it up and down my street a couple of times and then put it back. Two rugged box-section rails attach to the base of the downtube and support the engine. This 2012 TRX 450R is ready to tear up the track, sand dunes, or any trail you may have in mind. At it s heart, this machine is built to race. The TRX 250R is a Honda platform that has taken on events such as the Baja 1000 more than once and Honda has put years of racing experience into this quad. A 450cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine with a 40mm flat slide carburetor and throttle position sensor is the heart of this beast. There s plenty of torque a rider can feel coming off the start or tearing out of the corner. The powerband is smooth and steady as you feel the acceleration down a straightaway at high speeds. With all that power you need the suspension to carry you down the track or the winding trail. The TRX 450R has you covered. In the front you have independent double-wishbone with Showa shocks with adjustable spring preload. In the rear is a Pro-link single Showa shock also with a spring preload, rebound and compression dampening. Stopping is handled by dual hydraulic 174mm discs with twin piston calipers in the front. In the rear the TRX 450R single hydraulic 190mm disc with single piston caliper. In addition this TRX 450R has handguards already mounted to protect your hands from tree branches or other obstacles as you ride down the trail. It also has nerf bars with netting to help protect your feet, low-profile Razor MX tires and aftermarket wheels.

Lightweight titanium intake valves permit use of smaller valve springs, reducing overall engine height and saving 15.2 grams per valve compared to a steel valve design. Unique, internal pin-rotation-type auto decompressor produces a lightweight, compact system that provides superb cold-starting and hot-restarting operation. Crankshaft is made of high-strength, low-carbon steel with carburized main journals for maximum durability at sustained high-rpm operation. Forged 12.0:1 compression slipper piston is more than 4.5 ounces lighter than a conventional design, revving quickly while maintaining excellent cylinder sealing and high-rpm power. Nikasil® cylinder lining is lightweight and provides cooler and quieter operation for extended engine life. Press-fitted spark plug pipe fits between forked exhaust rocker arms, further contributing to compact cylinder head design. 40mm FCR-type carburetor features four rollers on the flat slide, resulting in very light throttle effort, smooth operation, crisp throttle response and excellent rideability. Bottom of float chamber redesigned to allow more fuel to pass to the main jet. An 8-bit digital CPU incorporates the capacitive discharge ignition (CDI), producing immediate data calculation and extremely accurate ignition for maximum performance.
