1998 Black Honda Valkyrie GL1500CT – CUSTOM – PRISTINE! $5K+ OF UPGRADES! TONS OF GOODIES. Not a scratch. Babied. Adult owned. Meticulous maintenance. This is a custom one-of-a kind 1998 Honda Valkyrie. Over $12K invested! Miles: 21,512 (original). Original paint. No fading. No scratches. No dings. No accidents. Never been down. 2nd owner. I purchased this bike on 03/2009 with approximately 18K miles from the original owner in Las Vegas, NV. Mature owner (56 years old). Previous / original owner was in his 50s too. TONS OF UPGRADES ($5K+). See detailed list below. Chrome is flawless. No signs of any pitting, fading, or rust. This is an ARIZONA bike. (Previous / original owner lived in Nevada.) I get tons of compliments. When I bought this bike, I removed the windshield (sold it on ebay) and started to customize it – installing fat T-bars 1.5” (very comfortable); I love them. (I realize you’ll never get all of your money out of upgrades / customizations.) However, I simply can’t fathom doing that; the bike looks incredible / awesome just the way it sits. Hoping someone else feels the same … . MAINTENANCE: · Good tires. Dunlop. · Healthy brakes. · Newer battery. · Paid Honda dealer $405 to install the custom cables, switch covers, and levers. · Paid Honda dealer $160 to install chrome cover on lower triple clamp. · Only ran Mobil1 synthetic oil. · Only used PREMIUM gas. · Tons and tons and tons of receipts. Nothing is wrong with this bike. I have 3 bikes. Just don’t ride this enough. The fact is … I only put on approx. 3K miles on this bike in 6 years. L This is one beautiful bike. Needs nothing - runs perfectly. This bike has a ton of power – so in my opinion, it’s not a good starter bike for a NEW rider. Yes, this bike is heavy. Most big touring bikes are. But once it starts rolling it’s extremely easy to steer / manage; very comfortable. Once moving, the weight fades quickly and it’s a sheer torque monster.
