1986 Honda Cb 700SC NIGHTHAWK, I am selling my 1986 Honda CB700sc "Nighthawk S". All stock, excellent condition. 13,600 miles. No mods. The only add-ons are a custom-made rear rack (rare) and a pigtail to the battery for a trickle charger (and a Slipstreamer clamp-on windscreen which I am keeping), easily removed to return to all stock. This is the last year (84-86) that these great bikes were imported. 700cc in line 4, shaft drive, UJM standard. Recent maintenance in the past 12 months include new tires front and rear, synthetic oil change, brake fluid and gear oil change. New fork seals. Starts and runs well. Battery is strong. This bike needs nothing. The bad? Very little. Small scuff on side on fairing, small rock chips down low. The PO JB-welded one of the mounting tabs on the back of the side covers to reinforce it, and it appears touched up the paint on the side cover. Well done and not noticeable from 5 feet. But I am being picky. It would take very little to make this a show bike. Reason for sale is I have only put 700 miles on it since owning it. This is too nice of a bike to leave sitting, and I will not ride this rare bike on dirt roads / forest service roads where I do most of my riding. Located in SW Colorado / Durango. Clear Colorado title in hand. *** I will remove this ad when the bike sells; if you see this ad, it is still available *** keywords: honda cb700 cb700s cb700sc cb 700 nighthawk $2,500.00

1986 Honda Cb 700SC NIGHTHAWK, Sadly I'm listing my Honda Nighthawk 700s. Looks and Runs great, in excellent condition. Tires are good. Always garage kept. Now the bad news. Last week as I was riding, the shifter was stuck in 6th gear. My mechanic says it is either the shifter shaft or pawl spring. If you are mechanically inclined, this is an excellent opportunity to get a great bike at a bargain. Considered parting out because the fairing itself would sell for $300 or more. I would rather keep everything together. $750.00

CLASSIC!! This is a 1984 Honda Nighthawk S CB700SC. You would be hard pressed to find a 84 Nighthawk. This bike has the classic Honda styling, and was hugely praised in its day for handling, seating position, and engine smoothness. Message me today to schedule an appointment to see for yourself! You are bidding on a 1984 Honda Nighthawk S CB700SC parts bike (although most parts are on it). Honda only made this bike from 1984 to 1986. It has less than 15,000 miles on it which is very low for this year. My brother got it used many used many years and was gonna ride it cross country then he heard some noise in the engine. He instead rode another bike and never got this bike back together. Most of the main parts are here frame, seat, fenders, most of engine, exhaust, etc. The engine is mostly together but cylinder heads are not connected to engine. It would make a great parts bike or you can strip another bike to fix this one. I am also including the users manual and repair manual. You must come look at it before you purchase b/c of obvious reasons. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN BIKE FIRST. Must pay within 2 days. No returns. Thank you very much! Feel free to email me with any questions.

I have 2-CB700SC's for sale. An 86' shown in the pics, and an 85' that's been crashed and is good for spare parts. BIKES SOLD TOGETHER. The 86' is in good condition at 41K. THE 86' NEEDS: both front turn signal brackets, carbs need cleaning, small tear in the seat. HAS: new tires on front and back, new throttle cable, new front disc brake pads, used starter, all plastics function and in good shape. The 85' has front end damage, engine, carbs, drive train are in good condition. Buyer to pick both bikes up upon purchase. No low ball offers. She's a classic. Rode it just last week. I'm downsizing, and I just don't have the desire to keep her up anymore. Thanks for your time..

This is an excellent running bike. The engine does not smoke or leak. The suspension and brake modifications bring it into modern age and is an absolute hoot to ride. Functionally, the bike is solid. Cosmetically, it is in good shape; from 10 feet away it looks great. It always gets the thumbs up from fellow riders. There are many changes with parts from at least 10 different (Honda mostly) bikes. The changes include: - Front and rear 17" wheels (Honda NT700V, this opens up use of modern radial tires on the bike. It has a set of Michelin Pilot Road 4 on the wheels. - Cartridge suspension (Honda Superhawk) with 1.0 KG/mm RaceTech springs. It is set up for a 205 lb rider (without gear). Custom length 41mm stanchions from Forks by Frank. Pitch of bike set up to reduce rake to 25 degrees, rebound and preload adjustable. - KYB rear reservoir shocks (Kawasaki ZRX 1200) - 316mm front discs/fixed 4 pot calipers (Honda Superhawk, ST1100 discs), Superhawk calipers are mounted to offset brackets to work on 316mm discs, MC modified for excellent feel/power using Triumph lever on Nissin MC body - 256mm rear disc (Honda Blackbird) w/ under axle 2 pot caliper (mid 90's Triumph) - Lots of other little things here and there, looks like a stock retro bike. I have completed all of the functional modifications but never got to redoing it cosmetically. Here is your chance to finish it and have a truly one of a kind bike that you can actually ride. The bike is up for $3,850 including the [$200] blue cover. THE EXTRA PARTS CAN ONLY BE HAD IF YOU MEET THE MINIMUM PRICE. If you buy it now for $4,250, you get all of the extra parts shown. If you have been looking for some of these parts, you will know there is over $1,250 in parts there. That includes the Corbin saddle (there is a small cut and a little road rash, pictured), gas tank, VERY nice set of OEM pipes and a 4-1 setup (the bike came with). Included but not shown is a complete decal set for a 1986 RWB CB700SC. I was going to finish the bike like a 1986 model and had bought the decal set when I got caught up in other bike matters. You will not be disappointed if you "buy it now". Please ask any questions before bidding. I will do my best to answer them. A $500 non refundable deposit is required within 24 hrs. Full payment (cash) is required within 14 days.

1984 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk 700 S, An American Hot Rod - Honda marketed the CB700SC (also called Nighthawk 700S) in the US from 1984 to 1986, configuring the bike's specification to avoid a 1983 US tariff on motorcycles over 700 cc. Motorcycle Classics magazine dubbed the CB700SC Nighthawk 700 S "An American Hot Rod." The Nighthawk S features a 700 cc engine, shaft drive and hydraulic lifters in a bike with angular lines, a small "bikini" fairing and a 16-inch front wheel more typical of a sport bike. The exhaust is a four-into-two finished in black chrome. The engine is enameled mostly in black with brushed satin silver trim. Other components are also enameled in black including the lower fork legs, handlebars, and rear grab rails. 28,264 miles on the clock. 95% Original. Not pristine, but very clean. Some fading, scrapes and scratches (See Photos) Shaft drive. Hydraulic lifters - never need adjustment. Seat has been re-covered with good quality aftermarket cover. Has Pro-Grip handgrips Has miniature rear turn signals Avon Tires in good condition with good tread Carbs just synchronized. 100 miles on change of all oils, fluids and oil filter. Fresh North Carolina Safety Inspection Everything works as it should. Was $2,400.00, which is the Kelly Blue Book value. Price reduced to $1,999.00 FIRM

1986 Honda Nighthawk CB700SCRare bike in rare one-year only color combo. GREAT condition, superbly maintained. If you’re looking at this then you already know the legendary status of this bike. An historic classic that is as capable as modern bikes.Runs beautifully, carbs professionally synched. Progressive fork spring upgrade, new brakes, very recent tires. All plastic is in mint condition. Custom Corbin seat in matching colors.Hydraulic valve adjusters maintain a perfect state of tune for the lifetime of the engine, never needs adjustment. All rubber/plastic replaced with NOS parts. Only body flaw is one minor ding in tank, and a small scrape about 1” at the very end of lower right muffler. Tip of tach needle broke off, can be repaired. Custom seat has some distortion on rear pillion. Factory seat in A condition included. No corrosion or other deterioration. Nonetheless it is still a used bike and has some normal wear. This bike is seriously beautiful and in prime shape, ready to ride. Probably the greatest all-around motorcycle ever made. Predictable and forgiving, yet responsive and very fast. Comfortable for long distance touring rides, and great in the tight mountain curves. I have owned this bike for almost 25 years, I wish it could go into a museum somewhere. You won't be disappointed. Only selling because I am unable to ride anymore due to eyesight issues.
