Here is a very nice Suzuki GS850L 4cylinder that I personally bobbed. I still have most of the original parts, the last picture shows the bike as I got it 3 years ago. I am selling it because I have had it 3 years and have never even registered it, so, wife says, "time for it to go". I still needs a touch of work. The grips don't stay on good and tight, so you will have to take them off and properly mount them. I may get to that before it sells, but plan on you doing it. Also, it needs new fork seals, one fork leaks a little. Also, there is a little oil drip from the left side gasket. Very small, it leaves about a quarter sized oil spot after 2 months of setting. I have only ever ridden it around the house in the village, and with that, I have only ever got it into 2nd gear. It needs to be driven and opened up. The carbs have been gone through, but it just keeps sitting around, (with ethanol free gas in it) and I start it every now and then. So the carbs may need cleaning again, or just drive this thing. Sometimes it is real snappy on the throttle, other times it feels doggy. I think it should clear up with a good opening up on the highway. It stays in my garage and barely gets attention from me. This has a clear NY title. It is painted a flat black with a satin clear coat, the paint job is nice, but you can see where the emblems were on the tank in the right light, if you look close enough. However, this is a very nice looking bike, and I have had nothing but great compliments on this. I am not a stranger to doing this type of thing, I did build a model A street rod, and have done some work helping other people building their cars and trucks. But, I am not a professional, so I suggest you go through and tighten the bolts, and inspect it good before taking it to the road. If you buy this, it is your responsibility to make sure it is road worthy. If you buy this, you agree to hold me harmless of any accident, harm, death, bodily injury, or property damage you may cause by driving this motorcycle. Also, this motorcycle sells as is, with no warranties expressed, or implied. Paying for the motorcycle means that you agree to these terms 100%. Please do not purchase or make offer, if you don't agree to these terms, or if you do not intend to pay. It starts up nice, and as most of these GS's were, it is cold blooded, needs a good minute or 2 of idling to start to get a throttle response from it. My buddy had an 82' GS750, and it was the same way. But once it was warmed, watch out. He said it was the most reliable bike he ever had. He has had many. I, on the other hand, have only owned 2 street bikes, and several dirt bikes. One of the side covers of the engine is dinged up, but I bought a set of used covers from ebay, so you can replace it (that is when I was going to replace the gasket, just never got to doing it) The speedometer trim ring has a couple dings in it also, you can see that from the pictures. Also, the kickstand light does not work, it must be unhooked or something. There may be something else I am missing, but I am trying to be as thorough as possible, so you can buy with confidence knowing exactly what you are getting. In all reality, it is a pretty darn nice bike for the age! I prefer you pick this up, and I would prefer cash on pickup. Then I can give you all the other parts I have. If it gets shipped, there will be a couple boxes of stuff, so your shipper might not take it, so I can't guarantee you will get the spare parts. You can pay with personal check, but I will require require 30 days for the check to clear. Having the money usable in my account isn't good enough, I want the whole thing to clear the banks before I release the bike. My buddy got stiffed out of $4k when someone stopped payment on a check after 2 weeks of it being in his account. I hope you understand. Thanks. Any questions, just ask.

1982 Suzuki GS850GLZ Maroon with just over 500 miles Like new! Where to start? This is a beautiful, unmolestered all original unrestored 1982 Suzuki GS850GLZ in Mint - Showroom condition. It has just over 500 original miles, (Sorry the photo was taken a week ago and it had 482 on the clock then) It has been kept in a climate controlled environment for 99% of its life. The paint is 100% perfect, the bike runs beautifully and has been maintained meticulously for over 32 years. I came across the bike a few years ago, I collect and restore 82's, and as soon as I saw this one I knew it was special. The previous owner bought this new in 1984, rode it for about 100 miles and was scared of it. So it was used sparingly a few times just ride around the block so i heard and kept in a climate controlled garage in Nevada for most of its life. The man unfortunately passed away and his estate was being sold off, and I managed to grab it. It came with the Original title which was signed over by his wife, the bike Manual, the crate checklist from when it was new and a shop Manual. I had it shipped to me, and its been kept in my garage vacuum sealed for most of its time since. The bike is registered to me, so i am the 2nd Owner. It gets started every weekend, and taken out every other. during the Spring and Summer. The oil is changed before it goes into vacuum, and immediately after. The mileage has not been altered, no major work apart from maintenance has been done...it is completely 100% original right down to the last nut and bolt. The carbs do get removed before storage also, and cleaned throughout the winter before they go back on. I have been restoring GS's for a time now, and I've always been afraid to touch this one as its completely factory...I've sold my restoration on here and other Auction sites, so please if you do need a restoration done...you can send me your details and I can send you some examples :) Now, I will point out 2 things...The front and rear Calipers where the bleed valve is does have some minor loose paint as brake fluid eats anything it touches. There must have been a brake fluid change done wrong before it got to me and its eaten some of the paint. The other is there is the smallest touch of rust no bigger than a penny just under the seat. A little moisture must have crept in somewhere along the way, but it can be treated without any compromise to the bike. And lastly...the tires are not the originals, somethings just have to be given up...they were not bad at all, they were the original Dunlop Qualifiers, but they showed some age and made the bike look bad, so i had them replaced with Dunlop Elites with the RWL. So... She is ready to run, it has a new battery which i always put in before I sell any of my bikes2 sets of keysTitle/Registration (Registration is in my name which is required by the DMV to re-register the bike in the buyers name, the Titles in RI don't mean a thing, please check your State requirements before purchase)Shop Manual/Crate Manual/Owners Manual and a cool Suzuki poster given to the original owner when the bike was bought...(its the same image of the bike)Comes with the original rear grab pillion bar, the image has a parcel sissy.New front and rear tires. And I've probably missed something out, maybe a lot so please send me any questions you have I would be more than to help you. When the sale is final, I will also help by giving $150 towards any shipping costs, as i know how much that can be an issue for some folk.

1982 Suzuki GS850L For Sale It is with a heavy heart and much trepidation that I offer for sale my 1982 Suzuki GS850L. My hope is that someone will take this bike and love it for another 33 years, as I have. I'd hate for it to go to someone who will part it out, or let their kid learn to ride on it, and possibly trash it. Its too special of a bike for that. Its led a sheltered and special life with me, she really needs a new, loving owner so I know it will be in good hands and truly appreciated and respected. This bike has served me well over the years, however, I now own 3 other bikes (BMWs) and am expecting to pick up yet another one next week. 5 bikes is just too many for me. I find it difficult choosing which bike to ride, feel guilty leaving the others home like I am neglecting them, and also realize that a bike sitting idle is the worst thing for that bike. I hardly use the Suzuki anymore, and it makes me sad but I do love my other bikes as well. So my 'Zuke and I have reached a crossroad, and its time to call it a day after 33 years. I am the original owner of this bike, having purchased it brand new out of the crate as a 1982 leftover in March of 1983 for about $2300. Never rode a bike before, and brought her home in the bed of my father-in-law's 1954 Ford pickup. I learned to ride on this bike, and we've had some great times together. I got married on this bike. It has maybe seen 2 days of rain in its entire life. It has always lived indoors, either in my garage, or even spent a few years inside my living room on cold, winter nights. I have done all routine maintenance myself over the years, including fluid changes and winterization. It has 17,070 miles and looks almost as good as the day I took her home. It is almost 100% stock with the following additions made over the years: I swapped out the torturous buckhorn handlebars a few years back for something much more comfortable. I still have the OEM bars in the attic. I installed steel braided brake lines. Changed out spark plug wires and added 40,000 volt Accel coils. Added the unobtanium KG sliding back rest, but still have the OEM grab rail. Added ****** loud horns. Added a lightly tinted Givi windshield, which can be easily removed if you want clean air instead. Scooped out some of the seat foam and added Sargent Memory foam layer to firm up the seat. The seat is in perfect condition. I stripped the crackling clear coat of both side of the engine case with Aircraft Stripper, and just polish up the cases once in a while, and they look gorgeous! I undercoated the undersides of both fenders many years ago with gas main sealer to resist rust. They have held up remarkably well. The paint and chrome is great all the way around. There is the tiniest of dents (if you even want to call it that) on the side of the fuel tank and front fender. Almost unnoticeable. The inside of the fuel tank is perfect with no rust. Always stored for winter with a full tank of gas and fuel stabilizer. T
