PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY---THANKSMatching numbered frame & motor, full 'works' style motocross racer. Has all the vintage stickers still on it from back in the day and appears to have been a Works Performance (Canoga Park CA) sponsored race bike. Original paint on orig. aluminum tank is very nice. This bike has been extensively modified with: re-valved 38mm YZ forks and dual leading shoe front brake, lightweight YZ wheels, Works Performance finned shocks, Pro-Fab aluminum swingarm, Pro-Tec aluminum chain tensioner, custom open megaphone exhaust pipe is just beautiful, K&N filter, K&N chromoly bars, ultra rare vintage E-Line Magnum flat slide carb, vintage DeCoster grips, Preston Petty plastic, YZ controls, etc. This engine is a heavily modified factory PRO-TEC big bore kitted motor with high lift cams, valve mods & porting, ignition timing, manually activated compression release, etc. I have all the engine specs available to anyone who is seriously interested. This bike came out of SoCal and looks suspiciously similar to the bike Rex Staten rode back in the day when he was competing on 4 stroke TT's. Fully restored with rebuilt and restored suspension (shocks & forks completely rebuilt & restored), new tubes, newer tires, new chain, original controls, etc. TITLED with all original books, and extensive motor mods described. Excellent compression and spark. Starts easily and runs strong. Bike has been sitting for a while and should have a complete RACE PREP by you prior to riding or racing it.Please look at photos and ask questions USE PHOTO ZOOM FEATURE. Vintage piggyback Ohlins shocks completely restored/rebuilt. 43mm Showa forks completely rebuilt with new heavy duty springs. Wide racing pegs. Powdercoated gray C&J frame & swingarm. Powdercoated engine. Aluminum side plates are custom built. Full custom Supertrapp disc exhaust w/custom headers. Renthal aluminum bars & grips, vintage Sun Line controls, new Dunlop knobbies, small aluminum '79 CR125R tank is beautiful, and CR 125 seat. Vintage Answer Products bar pad. New Petty/Falk replica plastic fenders. Previous owner thinks some valve/engine mods were performed but I have no actual records to prove this.
