Cleaning house , A sl350 in mostly original condition , low miles just over 7,100 ,stock paint all over both side covers look nice as does the tank minor scratches on tank , fender has been dented but not cracked it looks like its aluminum I think that is stock. The reason the bike was parked many years ago in the brake cable broke and no one wanted to replace it , the bike kicks over with very good compression and would run with little effort inside the tank is clean and I think the carbs where drained of fuel , the seat is torn as shown and I think the pipes are aftermarket , I think this one wouldn't take much to restore Im still looking for the key, but I have found the title, this is from an estate so cannot get all that much history on it just what I can see and am told. The bike does not look to have been beat or abused just not used. Pickup only 54935

For sale is a 1972 Honda SL350 K2. When purchased, the bike it was already in good condition except for the paint. The tank, side covers and head light had been painted orange and the frame was black. The bike was then stripped down to the frame. The frame, engine side covers, upper and lower triple tree clamps, swing arm, rear brake brace and chain guide were sent out to be powder coated back to the correct silver color. The top triple tree clamp was powder coated the correct black color. The engine side covers were powder coated the correct grey color. The tank, side covers and head light were sent out to be re-painted back to the original blue metal fleck color with yellow inlays with black pin stripes on the tank. The yellow inlays and black pin stripes on the gas tank were originally decals. I had the inlays and pin stripes painted on and then clear coated. The paint job is flawless. The mufflers were in fair shape with no rust or holes but they did have the usual dents. The entire exhaust was sent out to a metal smith for restoring. The results were well worth the time and considerable expense. The fenders were already in good condition and have not been polished. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts great and did not need any major work. The bike only has 7K miles on it and the engine did not look like it had ever had any major work done on it. The cylinder and heads cleaned up very nicely but have not been polished. The cylinder does not have any broken cooling fins or damage. The carbs were taken apart, cleaned and re-assembled. The tires were new when I purchased the bike. The wheels were already in good condition when the bike was purchased. All the control cables, including the very hard to find rear brake cable, were replaced with exact re-production cables in the correct grey color. All the brakes and wheel bearings were replaced. The front forks were rebuilt with new seals and fluid. The wiring harness has not been cut or altered in any way. Almost all the nuts, bolts and other fasteners were replaced. A new battery was installed. All the steering bearings and seals were replaced. New seat cover was installed. All the Phillips head screws holding the engine side covers on were replaced with stainless steel Hex Head screws that won't strip out when removed. I have a correct toolbox that goes with the bike but the toolbox cap is missing. I have a clean and clear Kansas title in hand. The Honda SL350's are desirable collector bikes and this one is exceptional. It is ready to ride or show and even draws a crowd at the Harley shop. If there are any questions, please ask. The bike is for sale locally so the sale may end early. Thanks for looking.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This XL250 is from the first year of production when Honda introduced its new engine design. When it appeared, it was the first modern four-stroke enduro motorcycle and the first mass-produced 4-valve motorcycle. The XL250, laid the groundwork for the revolutionary big modern four-stroke-enduro wave. It has only 6600 miles on it, always starts easy, runs strong, and looks great! It has just been professionally serviced including adjustment of the timing, valve clearance, brakes and clutch. The carburetor has been ultrasonically cleaned and gaskets replaced; then the mixture was adjusted. Headlight, taillight, switches and horn are in good working order. New items include chain, battery, spark plug, carb and petcock gaskets, fuel hoses and filters. Any shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. Paypal will be accepted for the down payment but the balance can be paid in cash or a bank check. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time in order to sell this item locally. 1972 HONDA CB350 VINTAGE RACER We ran this CB350 at the AHRMA races at Sonoma Raceway in Sportsman 350 last summer and then removed the engine to rebuild it over the winter. Subsequently, we made the decision to run a different class next year, so are selling the CB350 as a turnkey roller, with the engine out, ready for rebuild. The engine was running fine, if somewhat down on power for the class, but we still managed to get a 9th and 7th in a field of 11. Is legal for OMRRA and WMRRA, not sure of other clubs but AHRMA legality usually makes it work. FRAME: Welds have been strengthened, and the rear engine mount boxed in. An extra mount for the rear shocks was added 1” forward of stock to allow for more shock travel. Heavy duty chain adjusters and new chain. Tapered roller bearings in the triple clamp, plus steering dampner. Handlebar mounted on/off switch with LED light. WHEELS AND TIRES: The rims are aluminum DID 18” laced to a stock rear hub, and a Suzuki T500 front brake with race linings arced to fit. Extra rear hub included from an SL350 to convert to cable brake if desired. Tires only have one weekend from new, and are Avon vintage race tires. SUSPENSION: Forks and triple clamp are from a Honda CB550, and has Gold Valve Emulators installed. Slight weeping on the right leg, so needs new seals. Rear shocks are Progressive 1204-20BG’s and worked well for me – I’m about 200 pounds, and they are adjustable. ENGINE: Has 32MM Mikunis, but I am including a set of brand new 34’s, never mounted but use the same spigots. Currently has Kawasaki 66MM GPZ750 pistons, and head has been cleaned up. Cam is a Megacycle 123-20. Constant loss electrical system with a low battery mounting box and quick disconnect. Also included is a new KA Performance Teflon Slipper Cam Chain Tensioner.MISC: All safety wiring was done, so everything is drilled and either already wired ready to be rewired. Seat newly upholstered with leather. Factory and Clymer service manuals included. Rear stand included. Not shown: comes with TT style low pipes, oil catch tank. Passed tech at AHRMA with no issues. Comes with a title.Price is firm, will help arrange shipping if needed, may be able to help with delivery on the west coast, please call to discuss that or any other questions you might have - happy to go over it. Paul, 415-637-8757.

This is being relisted because winning bidder could not proceed with the purchase. 47 photos below. Some bidders are not seeing all the photos. I use my own photo service so they are larger and shown below. Please scroll all the way down. I am very careful about my descriptions having gone on many wild goose chases to see bikes and cars that turned out to be in far less condition than advertised. I am sure many of you have been in the same boat so I will do my utmost to describe this so that there are NO disappointments or surprises. Fresh out of a heated garage and all original, 1972 Honda SL350K2 with all original parts. This has not been on the road since 1982 but the owner loved it and kept it up with fresh gas and started it on regular basis. It has been extremely well preserved and we only had to give it a mild cleaning to get to this point. Case in point being that he has sprayed some grease on the chrome wheels and spokes and when cleaning it off, the grease came right off easily with no rust and that includes the spokes. I showed a close-up of the spokes showing one I just wiped off and the others with coating still on them. This is 100% complete as came from the factory including the battery cover, the rare small reflector just above the tail light and the tool kit with all tools and the correct embossed kit case and even the cover to the tool box. Also have the original mirrors in perfect condition and the original owners manual plus it has a clear New Hampshire title. It was sold new in 1973 but year of manufacture is 1971 and the title reflects that and also notes that it was an overproduction mfg 1971 on the title. As a 1973 it had a few differences besides the color scheme seen on it, it also came with a 21" front wheel instead of the 19" that would have been on the 1971. Condition, unbelievable. All chrome is striking (no rust or discoloration) except on the tail light which is just very good and cam cover on left side which is poor. Gauges are beautiful and clear with just a small bit of chipping in black paint on housings near edge. Tank and side covers are original paint with some chips and light wear and inside of tank is very clean. The alloy fenders are outstanding with no dings or dents. Seat is perfect even underneath with no rusting. Some wear to back edge of tank from rubbing against seat. New battery and plugs. Starts easily and runs great with no smoke on startup or after being warmed up. All lights work and runs great. No clutch problems. Missing the correct mufflers as he put on spark arrestors instead and not very loud. Matching numbers with frame number SL3503011337 and engine number SL350E-3011337. This bike is striking and only paint problem is on the frame loop at back where they had used bungie cord hooks. You can see from my close-ups that I have not cleaned or detailed much and just needs mostly soap and water. Listing with NO reserve and auction will end Sunday evening East Coast time so please keep track. Please feel free to contact me thru eBay with any questions you may have. I will also answer any questions by phone if you wish. Please note that I use my own picture service so you get larger and higher quality photos and I took many to show every aspect of this bike so you get no unwanted surprises. And unlike many of the listings on eBay, I have gone to great lengths to fully disclose any problems. I cannot crate and buyer is responsible for shipping or can pick up here. Can hire local to deliver to Forward Air in Boston for an extra $100.00 if that helps although ground transport is quite a bit cheaper. Motorcycle is sold as is as shown with no warrienties expressed or implied but I stand behind my description 100%. Buyer must pay $500.00 deposit thru paypal within 1 day and balance within 7 days by cash in person or certified or personal check but payment must clear before being shipped. I will sell overseas but new owner is responsible for all aspects of shipping. Bike located in Nashua, New Hampshire. I will be happy to answer any questions and phone number is available if you have any questions or by email.
