Up for your consideration is a 1997 gsxr 750 with a 05 gsxr 1000 engine. Second picture is from start to finish. Bike was built in September 2014. The only thing 97 is the faring, and tank. Bought 97 gsxr 750 but it didn't run so well. Came across someone selling a 05 gsxr 1000 wrecked. Salvaged all the parts I could from that bike, and what I could not salvage I bought from eBay. The list go like this from the ground up. New front, and rear tires, 05 gsxr wheels, 05 front forks, New chain and sprockets, New battery, 05 wiring harness, used wrecked bike rear shock and swing arm. Modified frame to except 05 gsxr 1000 engine. And the ending results is one mean machine. This bike does not have a power commander. Buyer is responsible for pick up. Starts every time. This is my sleeper, and people fall prey to it often. I've had three foot surgery and rarely it any more. My lost is your gain. Thank for viewing my page.

I love this bike, please do not buy it :) I really really love this bike but I am considering an impulse buy of a 1000cc gixxer. This bike is in excellent condition, and is well cared for by a response adult in my late 30s. I have 3 kids and I don't do wheelies or stunt. This is an every day commuter with easy miles. . Subtle and tasteful cosmetic modifications. I custom made this shorty exhaust, sounds beautiful, not too loud but a great rumble and loud enough for other drivers to hear you on the road. Recent chain and sprocket upgrade, speedo corrector unit also installed. No crashes, no major damages, I'll change the oil before you pick it up or ship it. Mobil 1 Synthetic. I am the second owner, bought it around 10k miles. On Jan-15-16 at 05:43:08 PST, seller added the following information: I will consider solid offers on this bike. On Jan-19-16 at 05:01:06 PST, seller added the following information: This bike is really solid. I have put easy miles on it, I ride all year round, even down to 15 degrees because I only commute 15 min from work to home. The bike performs well, no issues, no leaks, smells, etc. I do the oil changes myself and the spark plugs and air filter. It may need a rear tire by the end of summer depending on how much riding you do between now and then. The oil was just done about 2k miles ago, I use mobil 1 synthetic with a k&n oil filter at 5k intervals. The plugs were down about 3k miles ago and the air filter. The brake fluid and coolant was done about 5k miles ago. And the pads were changed not too long ago either, maybe 3-5k miles ago. This thing should be good to go. I have never changed the fork oil but most of the mechanics around my way said that it wasn't necessary unless the forks were leaking, which these are not. I'm not sure of how much life the rotors have left. The chain and sprocket was done 6k miles ago, so they are good to go as well.

The bike doesn't need anything in this respect. Bike rides straight and is fun as hell. If you're looking for a cheap, fast, and fun bike, this is for you. On paper the bike is a GSXR600, a 750 engine was swapped into the 600 frame. Engine numbers and stamps will again confirm 750cc swap with 600cc frame. Sold with a limited warranty on the transmission / clutch.Cosmetically:Sprayed a matte flat black. The Silver/Black theme is pretty awesome and consistent. The bike has scratches everywhere. The frame is straight and is scratched on the left side, no cracks or bends and the bike rides straight. The Triumph-Style headlights bounce and can be braced better, but are fully functional.Legally:I have the "clean title" on hand. The title is not labelled as "salvage" (so it looks like a clean title) but when registered in California, it will become salvage. If registered out of state, the bike will stay a clean title. Once again, the frame is straight, there are no cracks, the bike rides straight, but is cosmetically scratched. I have heavily adjusted the price because of this. I am willing to ship this bike to any FedEx freight dock in the continental United States. I get a very nice rate going dock to dock so please feel free to contact me for a quote. Starts right up and runs fantastic. Also included: '05 YZF-R6 310mm rotors (calipers are fitted to the 320's with a spacer)'02 GSXR1000 headerFactory elbow from DanMoto for the GP slip-onRear seatRusty '04 600 tank Seems I'm forgetting something...I'll add to it if I remember later. The bad of it are the fairings and brackets. She's wrapped in Sharkskinz race fairings and the paint is pretty haphazard. They're also actually ex-race fiarings and have the scars from it. They need some patching on the belly and a couple of oddball holes. They could be made to look really good if you put effort into them. The headlight also sucks. It's just awful. I pass inspection with it but it's awful. The forwar stay was also cut and bent to accommodate the fairings and headlight. The best thing this bike could get would be a clean set of fairings, a forward stay, and a real headlight. Her only other quirk is the TPS needs to be set...I simply haven't had time to do it. Makes the light on the dash come on. No check codes, just the TPS meter is a little off. The bike is blinding fast. Maybe not as fast as the world's newest 1000cc bikes, but it's hard to imagine the difference in the saddle. Clean and clear Texas title. I am only selling the bike because I found one I would rather have. Complete album ~ http://imgur.com/a/Tz1y4

Fast and now very collectible! 1985 Suzuki GSXR750 Frame number: JS1GR75A9G2100475 Engine number: RX05 115955 Suzuki rewrote the 750-class rulebook when it launched the GSX-R750 on an unsuspecting world back in 1985. The 'Gixxer's development had been heavily influenced by lessons learned from the works TT F1 and Endurance racers of the late 1970s and early 1980s; lighter than a 600 and as powerful as a 1000, it made all other super-sports 750s seem flabby and slow. One of the modern era's few instant classics and the sole surviving Japanese 750cc sports bike, the GSX-R750 has been a huge commercial success for Suzuki and enjoys cult status today. The GSX-R750 was, and is, a superb machine and an excellent example of Japanese motorcycle engineering at its most refined. Hiroshi Fujiwara, who was in charge of the basic layout of this first model, vividly recalls the excitement of his team at the beginning of the project. "This pure Supersport model was our first 750cc bike featuring an aluminum frame of unprecedented light weight and superb torsional rigidity. We had no real competitors in the market, other than factory racing machines." The oil-cooled 4-stroke, 4-cylinder engine of the GSX-R750 delivered more than 100bhp in a 395lb package. That’s the power of a 1-liter bike in the weight of a 400!! Suzuki's new 750 performed admirably in the AMA Superbike Championship and FIM World Endurance Championship and quickly became the racebike of choice among private riders worldwide, thanks to durability and affordability. When American rider Kevin Schwantz rode the GSX-R750 into second place at the 1986 AMA Daytona 200, his name became synonymous with the machine. Victories in AMA Championship and the Le Mans and Bol d'Or 24-hour endurance events soon followed, to anchor the beginning of GSX-R750's winning history. Presented here is the earliest version of the legendary Suzuki GSX-R750 family, the increasing desirability of which has seen values climb steadily in recent years. An early ’85 model, it is the actual bike featured in the “25 years of the GSXR” shoot out in the June 2011 edition of Motorcyclist Magazine, a copy of which is included in the sale. The bike runs exceptionally well. It starts easily, idles well and has great power delivery. It shifts through all gears perfectly with a good clutch. Suspension feels taut and the brakes work very well, front and rear. Cosmetically the bike is in good condition with only very minor scuffs on a bike with 17,000 miles, that is 32 years old. Testament to the meticulous care of the machine. The bike comes with a clean, clear California title. These are not bikes for the inexperienced or faint-hearted, with huge wheelie-popping performance on tap as the revs rise.
