I am selling my 1961 Triumph ,,, my ex husband built this bike for me ..we would ride together and now that we are divorced I am to nervous to ride it alone since it is a custom motorcycle. I dont know too many details about it so if you want more pictures just ask and I will do the best I can to tell you about it. We bought the bike in 05 and since then my ex who owns a body shop rebuilt the bike completely. The frame is powder coated pink and the seat is a custom tooled seat from a local leather worker,,, the seat alone I paid over 400.00 for ...This is an older bike so the shifter is on the right side and the brake is on the left ...It does run and I ride it around but I need to take an extra set of plugs when I go because the plugs foul from time to time ,,,,I dont know why the plugs were fouling ...also from what I remember my ex said he had to build a custom clutch cable because he couldn't find one to fit so it doest seem smooth when you pull in on the clutch but it does work ....these are the only two things that seem to be wrong ....This is an old custom motorcycle that I am selling as it....If I had the knowledge to work on bikes I would keep it myself but since it is a custom it is too much work for me to maintain I do have the title I put 20,000 miles although there is no speedo on the bike but the title reads 17315 for mileage... ** This bike is titled a 1961 ....someone sent me a message stating this In case someone else hasn't already told you, that's not a 61. 61s were pre-unit meaning the engine and transmission cases were separate. Yours is unit construction (engine and transmission in the same case) which didn't start until 63. Nice bike nonetheless!,,,,, I am not sure I purchased the bike and had title switched into my name with no problems
