You are looking at a 2001 KLR650 with Tengai plastics. I do have a front fender but not the Tengai fender. The stock fender will not mount without some modification. This is how I received it from the previous owner. It runs and rides great. Shifts through all 5 gears and stops fine. Just over 24,000 miles on the odometer. The front tire is a Heidenau K60 Scout with less than 2000 miles on it (new last year). The rear tire has a good amount of tread on it. Sealed-lead battery cranks-over strong. I have this bike and another KLR for sale because I have decided to scale-back my small collection. The other bike is a 2007 with a little over 10,000 miles. Asking $3250 for that one. 2007 Kawasaki Klr 650

2007 Kawasaki Klr 650, Starts and runs good, shifts through all the gears. The engine leaks some oil; after a 650 mile trip on 5/30/15, it was still within the lines on the sight-glass. I only added about 4 ounces to top it off. Could be an easy fix, I haven't investigated it but there appears to be a valve cover leak. I have been riding this bike as a daily-rider since October, 2013. I recently purchased a couple of smaller dirt bikes and have decided to sell my dual sport. Heidenau K60 tires (March 2014) New front brake pads (February 2015) New clutch cable (2 weeks ago) Upgrades (over $1200 spent): -Seat Concepts standard height seat w/ tailbone cutout -SW Motech crash guards -Front brake rotor upgrade (a huge improvement) -JNS skidplate (the best one you can buy) -Eagle Mike Doohickey w/ torsion spring -Tusk aluminum panniers w/ racks, locks and handle-straps -Eagle Mike fork brace -Eagle Mike drill through subframe bolt kit -Tusk barkbusters / hand guards -Custom dash panel with DC power outlet, voltmeter, etc. -Eagle Mike rear brake master cylinder mount -Happy Trail rear brake master cylinder guard -IMS pegs and shifter pedal -Handlebar risers, 1" I think -LED taillight This bike will take you anywhere. Cosmetic issues: A previous owner had painted the plastics. I removed his stickers and repainted the plastics and installed a gas tank from an '03 because I preferred the black tank to the silver one that came with the bike. The front shrouds were cracked and repaired with pop-rivets. Nadaguides retail value (good condition): $3500 KBB retail value (good condition): $3185 I am listing this bike, with all of the upgrades at $3500. I have spent over $1200 on upgrades.
