My Story: We got the bikes so we could do some father and son time together. I'm a firefighter and had grown up on bikes. When I joined the fire service I sold my bike after responding to too many fatalities.but couldn't talk my son out of buying a bike. So we bought 2 bikes and took the classes together for his benefit. We took some trips together before he went to college and got biking out of his system. now his bike is up for sale, also. I thought I would keep mine for it is a pleasure to ride but i just can't get the wife to ride along. so I guess its time to sell.. Bike is in super shape, has a wealth of accessories (see listing below), and is ready to ride and enjoy. Bike is a Honda 1800 touring motorcycle, it has an original 9740 miles on it, is beautiful metallic gray/black and chrome. Bike runs and drives great, has good rubber on it, and has no known damage currently or in the past.Specifications: Honda 1800 motorcycle with wheelbase of 66.5 inches, seat height of 29.1 inches, tires are 130/70R-18 and 180/60R-16, fuel Capacity of 6.6 gallons, and curb weight of 895-928 lbs. Engine is a 1832cc SOHC liquid-cooled horizontally with compression ratio of 9.8:1, has programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI), bore & stroke of 74 x 71mm, and ignition having digital computer-controlled with a five-speed transmission with overdrive plus electric reverse. Front suspension is 45 mm cartridge fork with anti-dive system while rear suspension is Pro arm single-side swingarm with Pro-Link, has single shock computer-controlled spring-preload adjustment, two memory presets; and 4.1-inch travel. Front brakes are dual full-floating 296mm discs with CBS three-piston calipers (optional anti-lock brakes) with rear brake being single ventilated 316mm disc with CBS three-piston with caliper (optional anti-lock brakes). Sale requires $1000 deposit down within 2 days (48 hours) of sale's end, and balance due either in cash at pickup or by wire transfer (prior to coming and pickup) within 2 weeks of depositing the deposit. After 2 weeks if not fully paid or picked up and paid, bike is relisted, deposit is kept. The option is available for the bike to be stored for up to 30 days after the sale; if paid for fully by the new owner up front (wire transfer for full amount) - then no charge for storage. After 30 days, bike will be relisted, deposit of $1000 kept and other money returned.
