VERY AESTHETICALLY CORRECT ETTORE BUGATTI TRIBUTEAFTER 1927 BUGATTI T-35B BOARD TRACK RACER IN REMARKABLY PRESERVED CONDITION Over the years I have become quite fond of the very sleek and high profile Bugatti T-35 replicas or "Tributes" as I like to call them. So fond in fact, that I have purchased more than a dozen Bugatti Replica's in the past 3 years (all that I could find) and I have always had an absolute blast driving and being noticed in them and the demand is always high for such unusually styled, open cowl roadsters at affordable prices, and the supply will always be low as successful litigation of exotic car companies like Ferrari and Lamborghini has put the replica car fabricators out of business making it "ILLEGAL" to now manufacture cars "after" designs by established car companies, including Bugatti. With the many replicas that I have owned over the years I have lost money on just 1 car ($1200), and that was because I had over invested $17,000 in aesthetic upgrades in that particular Bugatti and a very attractive automotive acquisition opportunity presented itself and I prematurely bailed out of that car investment. But for the most part, I have never failed to realize a very handsome profit in resale, even in the short term (less than two weeks) as these cars are aggressively sought out by economically minded sports car enthusiasts looking for a very reasonable and enjoyable automotive investment without the worry of compromising a very valuable or historic car. And of course the biggest upside to this type of collector car ownership/enjoyment is the inexpensive repairs and overnight availability of any VW part from big box automobile parts retailers like ADVANCE, NAPA OR AUTOZONE. Just worry free motoring!! One very interesting indicator as to the increasing popularity of well designed tribute cars is the fact that just 3 years ago the eBay replica car category used to average 250-300 vehicle listings at any given time, now you are very lucky to have a selection of more than 75 vehicle offerings in this very popular automotive consumer category. Five to seven years ago I used to find unbelievably sweet deals on Bugatti replicas for under $5000, but trust me when I tell you that those days are gone FOREVER! Now the big vintage collector auto malls aggressively pursue and buy these well constructed "tribute"cars sight unseen and market them for close to $20,000 as the secondary collector car market has appreciated exponentially along with other investment grade automobiles. And if you are doubting that the vintage/replica car market is on fire, just get on You Tube and look up Jay Leno's Garage and you will find the the super-wealthy Jay Leno has 11 replica's (3 of them Bugatti T-35's) in his $80 million car collection. Now of course the quality of Jay Leno's replica's far exceed the quality of the replica Bugatti's that I am offering in this listing but the motive is the same, there is a great deal of value/investment potential in beautifully built and meticulously appointed automotive "knockoffs". Please keep in mind that a genuine Bugatti T35-B would cost well over $2 million and 99% of the people have never seen a real Bugatti so they just assume that you are "swimming in cash". The pretty girls get "quite chatty" when you pull up at stop signs and they feel very comfortable just hopping right into your car to click a "selfie". And if you don't mind attention, then you won't believe what this "Blue Bullet" will do for your popularity and social life! This superbly detailed and completely restored Bugatti replica has undergone a complete and professional engine and transmission rebuild with an all new braking system including new master cylinder, durable powder coated 19" period correct Model T wheels and tires ($2500) brand new, properly functioning interior gauges. This Bugatti T-35 B is as as authentic looking as any Volkswagen chassis Bugatti you are likely to find anywhere (the only aesthetic improvement consideration this car requires is large 10" or 12" headlights as the 1927 Bugatti's originally had. These 7" headlights are a bit small). The paint and decals are flawless with a new $500 custom made button down All Weather-Tonneau Cover. My car has never been kept outdoors as even the genuine leather bonnet straps are like new and never exposed to the sun or rain. This car is in excellent condition for a 40+ year old collector car, bottom to top you WILL NOT find a better Bugatti "Tribute" for under $20,000 as this car is in near showroom condition and aesthetically very authentic looking and THAT MATTERS!! My car is stored indoors and under cover in a climate controlled building in West Branch, Iowa zip code 52358 and I will be incurring storage expenses beginning June 1, so I would like to have this very high quality Bugatti sold and removed certainly within 2 weeks.
