HARLEY DAVIDSON HERITAGE SOFTAILHere's your chance to own a like new bike for a fraction of the new price. This bike only has 4100+/- miles on it. NO, that's not a typo!Shortly after purchasing the bike, I got sick and simply couldn't ride. My husband would start the bike and make sure it was taken care of. I kept hoping I would get better, but I haven't, and It's just not right to have such a beautiful bike sit in the garage. My loss is your gain. The bike has a new battery. I've added crash bars, and the bike has been lowered 2" in the back for a beter stance. Also has white wall tires, passenger back rest, and slash cut slip on mufflers. The derby cover has been changed to the stock one.Good luck and thanks to everyone for looking.A deposit of $500.00 is required at auction end.

1956 BSA Goldstar Classic. The bike is not a so called B-50 or a B-44 Goldstar but a genuine big fin Goldie Serial number DB 34 GS. . The current owner has owned it for over 30 years. The motor does run strong and starts easily. It has less than 2 hours on the engine. Here are the things the owner knows the bike needs: The handlebars are too high for touring in the old British style. The rims are unpainted as are the spokes. Some of the front fender braces are missing. The front and rear fenders are there. The headlight taillight and other electricals are not wired. Items like the kick-start and shift lever are painted not chromed. There are some very small dents on both the oil tank and the toolbox. The bike was supplied with a concentric carburetor however the owner has a nearly complete 1.5 GP carburetor that can go with the bike. . The fuel tank is dent free and newly chromed though the painted portion was aerosol sprayed and will likely need a re-paint. The owner picked a powder blue to see what the color looked like. The chrome is unscratched and beautiful. The chain guard will need attention and re-chroming. The bike has sat for so long that the under barrel gasket has dried out and it weeps some oil. There is no battery and therefore no wiring to any of the appliances on the bike. The proper Mag-dyno is fitted on the bike and the dyno works just fine. The magneto works since the owner can drive the bike. No voltage regulator came with the bike however the owner has located one but it is not affixed nor in the photos. The speedometer and tachometer cables are missing but the clocks are correct for a 56 Goldie and have been tested as working. The proper weaved fuel and wrapped oil lines need to be located and fitted. Some small dents need to be filled or removed from the oil tank and tool box. The front fork seals need replacing. Rubbers for foot rests and kick levers need to be located and affixed. The Aluminum parts on the engine need polishing. The seat needs to be re-upholstered with the correct color of piping for the seams. . The Goldies as they are called were on nearly the wish list for everyone of the bikes in the era. The Gold Star was awarded the moniker for doing 100 MPH for one contiguous race average at Brooklands. That was quite achievement for a fifties era single cylinder motorcycle! . Qualified buyers may be eligible for Financing and Nationwide Shipping.
