I purchased the bike brand new in 2011.  It has a clean title.  It has 23,100 miles on it.  The majority of miles are highway.  I have a bunch of accesories to go with it.  90 decibel radio with FM tuner, line in, sd card and thumb drive.  It has a Vance and Hines 2 into 1 full exhaust system which gives it a nice sound.  It has a mustang rider seat with removable backrest and a removable mustang passenger seat.  It has passenger pegs on it.  It has highway pegs with swing wing Kuryakyn pegs on it.  It has a Detachable windsheild.  It has detachable, lockable leather pro saddle bags on it.  It has a Piaa GT-X headlight bulb.  The bike has never been dropped and was always maintained.  The tires have one season on them.  Not interested in trades.

Intro:For your consideration is this 1999 Ducati 900SS half fairing model. These 900SS’s are known as some of the best sport road bikes Ducati has made and actually are rock solid reliable. These bikes have a great following and support. The Super Sport heritage goes back to the earl 1970’s. What an interesting engine that has gobs of torque! I am an all the gear all the time adult rider and sports/exotic & motorcycle enthusiast. THE ONLY reason this motorcycle is available for your purchase is because I recently purchased a low mileage Ducati 996S and decided I would rather keep the 996S, although it was still a tough decision as I greatly enjoy both bikes. This 900SS is an absolute blast to ride and offers some of the best bang for buck in motorcycling. It is ready for the road and to be enjoyed as it sits! See down below for more info. Photos & Video:There are 39 photos of this 900SS for you to be confident in its condition. There is also a brief video clip showing the bike starting (100% cold not started in a week at least and started on the first try) and a walk-around of the bike. Click any of the photos below to go to the album or here is the photo album link (copy and paste):http://s1074.photobucket.com/user/OldSkoolFool83/library/1999%20Ducati%20900SS                                 Get your own valid XHTML YouTube embed code Cosmetics: In 1999, Ducati updated the styling of the 900SS. I argue that this version, the 1999+ half fairing version, is the best looking of the early 1990’s to early 2000’s models. This 900SS specifically looks better than it should for its mileage and age. It truly is a bike mileage and condition wise you can stand there and admire. There are typical signs of use like chips, nicks, and some minor scratches throughout. Standing five feet from the bike, it looks nearly flawless. It is of the condition someone would want as a very nice rider, something they will not be nervous to park out in public, but yet something they can still admire and stare at in their garage. The most significant cosmetic blemish is a scuff on the right side above the Ducati decal. It is about the width of a pencil eraser and about 0.5” long. It looks like something bumped into it in the garage and scraped some of the clearcoat off as it is not through the paint. The left front corner of the fuel tank has some barely noticeable scrapes. It does not look to be due to the bike being down due to location and no scrapes on the engine cover or frame. It is not very noticeable. Please note that the flash from the camera makes it look like there are a few white big nicks throughout but that is not the case. Ducati has great paint and this red paint is great. It is deep and glossy. No part looks to have been repainted. The “gold” frame looks great as well. Someone could spend a little more time detailing but the wheels, exhaust, engine, gauges, etc. all cosmetically are great as well. Again, this is a very presentable machine. Mechanical: This bike is good to go the way it sits. Just hop on, ride, and enjoy. A Ducati tech previously owned this motorcycle and maintained it well. Unfortunately I do not have receipts but around 14,000’ish miles the belts were done and valves adjusted. Within the past year the oil of course has been changed and a new battery put in. The engine starts right away the first time every time. It idles excellently. It does not drip at all. It runs at a proper temperature. The exhaust is the upgraded Ducati carbon system and it sounds lovely. The transmission shifts well. The brakes are great front and rear. The suspension feels like how it should. The chain is fine. The tires have two season left on them I would say. The turn signals, headlight, brake light, gauges, and etc. all work like they should. There are no funny electric gremlins or anything. 1999 introduced fuel injection and the Ducati system is well sorted and works great. Rider Experience: This is about the most fun you can have on a bike for this kind of money. Why someone would want to buy a cookie cutter 600CC-750CC sport bike for the street versus something like this is silly to me. This truly is a sport bike and is more than sporty enough for the street. The engine is lovely. It is such a torquey motor. It pulls nicely throughout and makes it a blast to drive around town while on the 996S I have to shift and rev it more to get more out of it. Accelerating up to freeway speeds, the 900SS feels just as fast as the 996S. I have had other quicker bikes than the 996S (ex: Buell 1125R) and this 900SS truly has enough guts for the street. The engine sounds lovely. It of course has that deep thumping Ducati noise out of the upgraded Ducati carbon cans. The intake sounds cool tool. Very responsive and torquey engine. The brakes are great and from what I understand are straight off of the 996. The suspension feels very good as well. It definitely is sporty and is adjustable. The riding position definitely is sporty. It feels appropriate for the bike and lends to the style of riding you would want to do with the bike. I was really impressed with this machine. It really is not far off in experience that the 996S offers. The 996S though is what I originally had set out to get and has a collector type aspect to it that appeals to me. The 900SS is something that makes you just want to hop on, romp around on, twist the throttle to feel the torque, and to listen to the deep thumping sound. In Conclusion: I was really considering keeping both of these Ducatis but decided to simplify life a little thus the 900SS is available for you. Good tires, newer battery, timing belt service, valve adjustment, regular fluid changes, and being very nice cosmetically are tough to find in a sub $3,500 sport bike let alone a premium brand like Ducati. Rancher® AT: It’s the automatic choice. Isn’t it great when something in life actually works out better than promised? That’s how you’re going to feel when you choose a Honda Rancher AT. When you look at all it offers, it’s easy to see why the Rancher AT is such a hit. First it belongs to the best-selling ATV family in America. Because they’re Hondas, they offer a legendary degree of dependability and quality. Then there’s the lineup itself, with the Rancher AT standing proud as the flagship. Built around the same class-leading 420 cc engine as our other Ranchers, the AT makes a great ATV even better with features like plush Independent Rear Suspension (IRS), Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI), TraxLok® 2WD / 4WD system, and a revolutionary, twin-clutch-equipped automatic five-speed transmission that’s arguably one of the slickest- and quickest-shifting gearboxes on dirt. Recommended for riders 16 years of age and older. Honda recommends that all ATV riders take a training course and read their owner's manual thoroughly.

Every craftsman knows that if you use the right tool for the job, life is a lot easier. But that’s a secret plenty of people forget when they’re looking at utility ATVs. Bigger isn’t always better, but it is usually more expensive and that is why the Honda Recon is going to be the smartest choice lots of ATV riders will ever make. Why? You see the Recon is a powerful, versatile, rugged ATV with a smaller footprint. Its compact size helps you maneuver through tighter trails some larger ATVs would struggle with. But we’ve equipped this two-wheel-drive workhorse with a specially designed a 250–class engine, engineered for plenty of low-rpm torque and power. And the Recon is even available in two different models: one features our conventional foot-shift ATV transmission, while the Recon ES offers Honda’s Electric Shift Program (ESP), allowing you to upshift and downshift using two handlebar-mounted buttons. And new for 2016, we’ve redesigned the reverse mechanism and parking brake to make them easier to use and more intuitive. Take your pick—with a Honda Recon, you can’t go wrong. Important Safety Information: Recommended for riders 16 years of age and older. Honda recommends that all ATV riders take a training course and read their owner’s manual thoroughly.
