1978 Honda Gold Wing, 55000 miles, Exterior: Black, VIN: GL14004843, This Goldwing is an ORIGINAL gl1000. Original paint, Original exhaust, everything except the seat, and its a new old stock right down to the gold lettering on the back of the seat. Still have the factory seat that came on it but it is torn in a seam.This bike has always been treated very gently as the photos show. It runs just like it did in 1978. As you know this bike has a carburetor not fuel injected, therefore it is cold natured on cold starts, once warmed up she purrs like a kitten. I bought the bike in Miami Florida. It ran and started great, but I went ahead and changed the pet cock valve on the gas tank, the fuel lines, fuel filter and the fuel pump, so as not to have any fuel delivery problems. I have ridden the bike for a year and a half and not touched anything else except added a new set of Avon tires.The harder you run it the better it runs, just like it was in 1978. This bike looks good even underneath the exhaust and under the fenders. Play close attention to the photographs. The condition is in the details. When you see how good this original black paint is you realize the treatment this wing has had for the last 38 years. Still has the original owners manual in perfect condition along with the factory tool pouch and tools. Appears that they have never been used. I am moving so I am selling all my bikes except one. The story on this wing is, it was bought by a fireman in Coral Gables Florida, who owned it for 21 years. He came to the same dealership where he bought in Coral Gables and traded it in on a new Goldwing. A customer was standing there and bought it on the spot. He owned it for 14 years and sold it to a friend because he was moving out of the country. I bought it from the friend. There are many 1978 Goldwings on the market for sale but you will look long and hard to find one that is in this condition that has not been restored. They are only original one time. Thats what makes this one special. I hope to sell to a new owner who will continue the gentle treatment it is used to. 2001 Harley Davidson Wide Glide, Manual transmission, Gas fuel, Exterior: Red, You can find these bikes for ten thousand dollars but theyre all scarred up. This bike doesnt have a blemish. Paper stickers are still on the wheels. It has never been dirty, always polished with spray wax and microfiber cloth. Ostrich hide seat. Hand applied Gold Leaf flames. Notice in the photo how the tip of the exhaust pipes are shining, even on the inside where it would normally be black from exhaust. Thats the kind of treatment this bike has had. If you dont already know these bikes, called SWITCHBLADE, research them, youll fall in love. As I understand only 1400 were made. CVO custom vehicle order. Note the original cost on the photo of the sales receipt. Original owner invested over $35000. All receipts and paperwork are with the bike. This bike is built to the hilt, big cam, big carburetor (mikuni 45 mm) screaming eagle motor, six speed transmission, oil cooler etc etc Dyno sheet shows 122.8 hp and 126.1 torque. Youll be impressed with the look, the sound, and the performance. This bike is not for a beginner. All work done by Motown Harley-Detroit Mi. 2001 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide CVO, 2001 wide glide FXWG2 (switchblade) If you don,t know these bikes, research them and you will fall in love.. This is a CVO bike that is absolutely flawless. You can buy these switchblades cheaper but they are scarred up and look used. This one is immaculate. . This bike cost $25,000. when it was ordered new. Note the photo of the sales receipt at time of purchase. After buying the original owner spent several thousand dollars more on upgrades. There were a limited number of switchblades built. This bike is actually better than new. It already has all the expensive upgrades already professionally done, screamin eagle motor, oil cooler, 211 cams, mikuni carb. a six speed transmission etc. Has dyno papers with it when i purchased it that show it at 122.8 hp and 126.1 torque. The brown ostrich hide seat sets it apart. Hand applied 23 karat gold leaf flames. New Michelin commander tires. Always cleaned with spray polish and microfiber clothes. Still has the paper stickers on the wheels. Every piece of paperwork associated with the bike is still with it, including both keys, owners manual, even the original VHS tape for new owners. Also has the original custom cover. I have owned the bike for 4 years. I bought it from the original owner who owned it for 11 years. It has 8700 miles on it now, had 5200 on it when I bought it . Has never set for long periods of time. I am selling all my bikes except one due to moving. Would love to see a new owner who will continue its gentle care.
