I believe I am the second owner of this motorcycle. It is absolutely wonderful. Pictures say it all. Stock tank was replaced with this one. It fits the bike better and makes it stand out. People ask me all the time how come I can run historic license plates on a new motorcycle. This bike polishes nice and is candy apple red. No rust. Only has about 5400 miles. That will change slightly because I am currently using the bike from time to time. When I got the bike a few years ago, it had a new front tire. I just replaced the back tire last week with an oil change. I had to replace it because it was the original 1988 tire and was cracking, not because of tread wear!Prior to this listing I just removed the carbs and checked them over. Jets were pristine and the inside of the carburetor looks like it is brand new. There was literally nothing to clean. I bench tuned the carburetor, and the bike is running great. I just took it on a 100 mile ride to make sure the tire, brakes, and carbureation were all good. I had no issues on the ride. In NJ, when you register as "historic" you never have to pay a registration fee again. It is nice. Saves you $60 per year.I want to sell the bike locally. It is always my preference for a buyer to see a bike in person. I am hesitant to ship because if you are not happy, we waste a lot of time moving the bike back and forth. This is a 1988 motorcycle. While I consider it to be in excellent shape, you are going to be able to find blemishes here and there when you comb it over. Though there is nothing noteworthy to mention here, I don't know that my definition of "excellent" is the same as your definition of "excellent." For those reasons, the bike is pickup only. If you found this listing, you probably already know about the Super Magna. Basically, this is the 1988, so it has the bigger engine. It is one of about 3000 ever made. Most importantly, you'd be hard pressed to find one that looks better than mine! Reason for selling: My wife and I are beginning to ride together and I bought a touring bike. This bike has 4 cylinders and is really fast on pickup. It is very easy to handle.

I have to sell my 01 NINJA. MUZZY PIPE! Bought it last year at the end of the season and rode it home, sat in my garage during the winter and I haven't even had a chance to ride it yet this year so I basically haven't put any miles on it since I bought it. I have to sell this for unforeseen personal reasons, not because it doesn't work or I don't like it...just a side note. Over the winter the front tire seems to have lost air, so that will need to be pumped up.I've noticed that the spring lock for the seat doesn't seem to function properly and should be replaced but the parts are very cheap. I never got around to doing this.Occasionally you will have to step down a little harder on the shifter I've noticed in order for it to shift properly. Those are all the things I've noticed that need attention for a new buyer. I wanted to throw all that out there before you make an offer so you know it needs a little light maintenance. Other than the low pressure in the front tire, it can be ridden NOW! *JUST A NOTE: THIS MOTORCYCLE HAS MINOR DENTS, DINGS and SCRATCHES THAT COME ALONG WITH USE, nothing MAJOR but nevertheless
