Up for sale is a 1974 Yamaha RD350. This bike is all original and has all the hard to find parts. The air box and cover are in place. All the fittings/holders/grommets that are normally lost are in place. Amazing. 5570 miles. I have a clean title in hand. This motor is strong and has never been apart. The carbs have been removed and cleaned. It runs fantastic! The carbs, engine covers/cases are in great orig. condition. Carbs still have factory black paint. The oil injector pump is in place and is operational. The gas tank is in great orig. condition. it does have some scratches and knicks. No dents. The inside of tank is rust free and has NOT been creamed. The gas cap is in great condition and has a working lock. The gas tank and side covers do have some paint fade, but it is all orig. The chrome is in good condition. Very little pitting, however, somewhere in the past, someone decided to use a scotch brite pad on part of the front fender, chain guard and top of pipes. With some intense buffing, I believe these could be corrected. The pipes are free of dents and in great condition. The seat has been recovered with a period correct cover and is in great condition along with the passenger grab strap. The turn signals are orig and are in fine working order. headlight, both low and hi beam work. the jewel lights for both turn signals, brake and high beam work fine. the gauge lights in the speedo are fine. the two tach lights are burned out. The neutral light is either burned out or needs some attn. down by the switch by the shift lever. The speedo works fine and appears to be accurate. The tach is inconsistent and seems to be slow to react at times. The tail light and brake light work fine. The front brake lever engages the jewel light and the rear brake light. The rear brake actuator switch attached to the frame lower that operates the rear brake light is cracked due to plastic threads and will need to be replaced. The bike is missing mirrors. As mentioned this is a great orig vintage motorcycle and is a very nice survivor. I am offering a buy it now or a best offer. Local pickup is preferred, but if buyer prefers to have shipped, it will be the responsibility of the buyer to arrange all shipping details. I will expect a $100 deposit made via paypal at time of purchase and payment in full before motorcycle is picked up or shipped. Ask all questions before closing the deal. Thanks.
