1997 G.M.C. Sierra SL 4 WD 5.0 Liter motor, L60E Transmission. 163.000 miles. Does not leak or burn oil. The motor runs strong. I have had the truck for 6 years, I hate to sell it but I am not using it anymore. Out of necessity I have replaced nearly everything mechanical. Transmission is rebuilt completely, the transfer case is also. I have replaced the following. Upper and lower ball joints, u-joints, radiator, heater core, battery, starter, shocks, bumpers, headlights, taillights, running lights, and every bulb in the truck. Fuel pump, fuel filter, thermostat. wires, plugs, cap, bed liner, bedrail chrome, chrome bug guard, rain guards for the doors, wheel well chrome, multi function switch, and there is an additional spring in the rear leaf spring pack, it is from a 2500. The brakes are also new, rotors. calipers, brake cylinders, hardware, and pads. The truck is in great shape for the age, and is a daily driver. This listing is for one fantastic motorcycle. Visually - it looks amazing. Mechanically runs great. I came across this motorcycle at a police auction months ago and since I'm a motorcycle enthusiast and I didn't have one of these I decided to buy it. Cosmetically it looked bad but I knew I could easily replace those parts. I stripped it down and started going through each system including the brakes, intake, electrical, lights, tires, etc. Here is a quick list of all of the parts replaced: Brake Pads- Both front and rear brake pads replaced and adjusted Clutch - adjusted Chain- replaced Front Tire- Replaced Rear Tire- Re-balanced Gauges Housing - Replaced Windscreen - Replaced Mirrors- Replaced Plastic Side Fairings-Replaced Grips- Replaced Levers- Replaced Battery- Replaced Brake, Turn Signals, and License plate light-Replaced with new LED Lights Seats- new seat covers installed Shifter lever- Replaced Oil Filter- Replaced and fluids changed Radiator-Replaced and fluids changed Air Filter- Replaced Spark Plugs- Replaced I went through the bike planning to keep it in my collection but the wife is not fond of this style motorcycle and refuses to ride on it with me. I sunk a lot of time and money into the bike but had fun doing it over the winter. I've only put a few miles on it and it runs fantastic but I did notice it has a oil leak- not uncommon for these bikes. Since it came from a police auction the title is a salvage title but it wasn't wrecked. Anything that comes from a police auction will have a salvage title. I've looked around at all of the GSXR's for sale around the country from Craigslist to Ebay and CycleTrader to get a feel for the pricing. I have priced mine below the average selling price because I don't like to waste time with tirekickers. Anything I list for sale is bought by the first person to look at it. There aren't any surprises when you come to see it. Its a nicer bike than 99% of them out there and well below the average price. You can feel confident that the bike is ready to go anywhere with a fresh battery, plugs, filter, brakes, chain, etc. I respond fairly quickly to emails so feel free to ask questions or set a time to come look at it. The first person to show up with the cash will take it home. I have the title in hand.
