This is a great 2008 Kawasaki 250f. It has been raced very little because I am lucky enough to have two, this one being for practice. It had a complete top-end rebuild about 10 running hours ago including a new head, all new valves, valve springs, cams, timing gears and chain, and German built Wossner 13.5/1 compression ratio pistons. This is the same as a pro-circuit piston, and performs just as well. I know because it has a twin "big brother" that has a stage 3 pro-circuit engine with the same compression pistons. We bought both of them in 2009, the mod being for racing only, and this one being the practice bike. The reason it was rebuilt is because an intake valve retainer busted, dropping the valve onto the piston during a compression stroke. This is the only mechanical failure I have ever had on either of these bikes. They have been very reliable. It has had the air filter changed every ride and oil changed every 2 or 3 riding hours. It has about 85-90% tread left on the tires, an aftermarket boyssen water pump, brand new pro-tapper bar that come with the bike, Factory MRC two finger clutch and brake levers, and a brand new front fender that also comes with the bike. The Factory MRC levers have a full lifetime warranty, just send them the broken levers and they will send you new ones. That's good because they cost almost $100. The only reason I am selling it is because I am moving up to a 450. I am asking $2900 due to the fresh built motor. You may find one cheaper, but you won't find one better.
