This is a 1974 NORTON 850 commando that I purchased from my uncle that owned the bike for 29 years , the engine has ben freshened up years ago and was broke in and never ridden , the transmission seems to shift fine and the engine has LOADS of compression , there are a few missing pieces like the points cover the left exhaust clamp a few bolts and cables but this is a PROJECT bike let me make that clear . but I have the foot pegs original wheels, forks (they have been taken apart) front brake caliper and so on that comes with the bike just email me and I can send pics of the other parts. the tank has a ding in it but there are no holes ,inside the tank is in great shape . but I have heard this bike run a few years back but the bike is not currently running , but a good carb clean and some fresh gas and a strong kicking leg and there should be no reason she shouldn't run .the bike has never sat in the weather it has been stored in a shed since 1991 till I removed it this past weekend , the frame and engine and transmission are all matching .also the rear of the frame has been cut years ago to make a chopper or what ever was the fad then but if you have any questions or concerns please contact me . thank you.
