For sale is my 2014 Harley Davidson FLHXS Street Glide Special. This bike is an amazing machine. I have roughly 7300 mile on the odometer however this will continue to go up as I continue to ride. Bike comes with 4 Years left on the Factory extended warranty included in the price. Had the bike in for maintenance less than 500 miles ago and passed all safety inspections from McHenry Harley. As you can see in the pictures the bike is very very clean. At the center of it all is the 103 High Output engine. The color is Blackened Cayenne Sunglow or for those who are unfamiliar with Harley colors deep metal flake dark burgundy. Runs and rides like a dream. The bike does have some modifications. Vance & Hines Hi-Output Dual Exhaust which looks great and sounds even better. Screamin' Eagle Agitator Extreme Billet Air Cleaner Kit and Screamin' Eagle custom dyno tune to improve performance with them installed. To protect all involved in the purchase should you decide to buy, buyer can purchase through the Harley Sellers Assistance Program. 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere I’ve decided to sell my Tenere. If you’re looking at this you probably know what you’re looking at. I’m sure you know what a great bike this is and how great it does in the reviews. No, it’s not a BMW or a KTM, but its got everything they do except for the German bike price. The Super Tenere comes with some advanced features from the factory... ABS - Works fantastic!! This is my first bike with ABS, its made me a believer!! Traction Control - Again first bike with this really cool safety feature. Totally cool!! Fuel Injection - I live north of Chicago....I ride till it snows. ABS means it starts....period! There are many more cool features that come with this bike from Yamaha that I’m leaving out, but we both know if you’re looking you’ve already done the research. This is what I’ve put on my bike to make it even more useful... First of all all connections are soldered with marine grade heat shrink. The factory harness was not cut where connections were made. Where applicable all new circuits were fused with water resistant fuse holders. 2 35watt 5000k HID retro kits from DDM Tuning in the main headlights. 2 35watt 5000k HID retro kits from DDM Tuning in the driving lights as well. Wired to a relay off the high beam switch as well as a bar mounted switch. Parking lights replaced with 3watt LEDs to better match HID color. White not blue. Symtec heated grips with lighted hi-low switch mounted on dash. Relay to ignition. Volt meter mounted under gauges. Fenda Extenda on front fender mounted with stainless screws and ny-locks. AltRider side stand foot AltRider rear rack with Givi bag mount kit Happy Trails side bag mounts with Givi Bag mount kit. I chose Happy trail because they were the only mounts that are symmetrical. I just couldn’t stand the look of a big bag on one side and little on the other. Also, the extra space allows for extra storage behind the bag. The top bag is a Givi E55LUXNB. This bag is huge!! 55 liters!! I bought the model with that comes with a liner and installed lights which I set up as brake lights. Givi included a spring loaded connector kit which I installed in the AltRider rack. I also installed a Givi backrest for the passenger. The side bags are Givi E460N. They are also pretty big at 46liters. I installed LED strips in the red plastic trim on these bags. They are set up as running lights with the lowest 2” as brake lights. The connections are made with waterproof connections similar to WeatherPacs. I bought and installed a set of matched lock sets in the bags. The tank bag is a Givi 3D603TankLock Tank Bag. If you haven’t seen this style of bag go to the Givi website and check it out!! The bag mounts to a ring on the fuel filler without touching the tank. It’s really sweet!! This is system is comparable to the Bags Connection style, but after having them both I like Givi’s better. There are also TechSpec tank grip pads installed on the tank I have only done a couple mods found on the Super Tenere forums. The seat mod lowers the rear of the seat, this makes it much easier to stay comfortable on long trips. The factory position is tilted towards the front so you’re always sliding into the tank. (not comfortable). I drilled the baffles in the factory muffler with a large hole saw. Not really much different, sounds a little throatier(?). I also think its a littles smoother. I also had the headlight harness recall performed this spring. All oil changes were made with synthetic oil on time. There really aren’t any issues with this great bike. There are scuffs and signs of use. Except for one small scratch on the side cover its in really nice shape for a 10k mile bike. The only possible issue is it’s going to need tires. They’re not totally gone, but the rear tire is getting thin. I was planning on installing a set of Pilot Road 4 Trail. I don’t do any off road riding and since I ride in the rain I was looking for something more street biased. I’m going to leave the tire choice up to you. There are so many choices, you will have the chance to fall in love with this really great bike and then fall in love all over again with new tires!! I have a clear title in hand. Please check with me before deciding to buy if you need to do any thing other than come pick up the bike. Such as ship, or fly in to pick it up. Feel free to come out and check it out if you’re local. I will not allow test rides unless you come with cash and a M on your DL. I prefer cash, if you want to pay any other way we can exchange payment at my bank. I’ve heard to many horror stories to do anything else. I will need a $500 deposit made via PayPal.
