2005 Harley Davidson Fat Boy FLSTFI-AE. Special edition with 95 inch engine. 1550 CC, air cooled Twin Cam 88B V-Twin motor with a Screamin' Eagle Big Bore Kit. 87 lbs. Ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm. Condition: I am selling this bike in AS IS condition with no warranty. There is a gold emblem on the front fender that was put on after purchase, a scratch/crease on the back fender and a small paint chip on the oil tank, please see pictures. There is some scuffing on the pipe next to the front foot peg, and some scuffing on the chrome where the back seat rest pops on and off. The gas gauge is hidden under the custom caps. I used the trip odometer and fuel up every 180 miles, also has low fuel warning system to let you know when to fuel up. Other than that, this bike is really fun, goes fast due to the Screamin' Eagle big bore kit and has tons of extras. About this model: In 2005 the Fat Boy model celebrated 15 years since the origianl was built in 1990. All the FLSTFs in 2005 were labeled “15 year Anniversary Edition”, they had a 88in motor and a sticker emblem on the tank and more chrome than the 2004 models. Also in 2005 Harley released the FLSTFI-AE, Fat Boy, this one had the fuel injected 95in big bore engine. This model has the gold pin striping and gold plated accents including a 24k gold plated tank badge, huge forks, giant floorboards and large lights. This model only came in two colors, silver pearl and this one is Vivid Black. The oil tank is color treated to match the engine. The air cleaner cover, timer cover and ignition switch plate received gold pin striping, as do the console, tank and front fender. This bike was originally sold sitting lower than the standard fat boy. Not sure how many where originally sold, As far as I can find online, Harley dealers where only allowed to order one of each color. I also found quoted from a person who said he contacted a Harley dealer: There where a total of 18,623 - 2005 Fatboy’s produced altogether. Of those, 14,078 were Regular Anniversary editions (not special edition). The rest totaling 4,545 where Special Edition 15th Anniversary 95CI Engine models. Vivid Black total: 2,755; 1,577 – 49 States, 201 – California, 977 Int’l. Silver total 1,790. About this bike: This bike has had all the services done by a official Harley Davidson shop. Back is adjustable. History of this bike: Was broke in as suggested by Harley Davidson, all services were done after the first 1,000 miles and at 5,000 & 10,000 miles. Less than 1K miles on last service (oil, filters, clutch adjusted, cable lubricated, ext.) Originally was bought NEW with 5 miles on it, at Hutchins Motor Sports in Yucca Valley, CA, is now located in Fort Sumner, NM.
