In 2000 and 2001 Kawasaki sold the W650 in the United States, their tribute to the British bikes of the 1960's, except it doesn't leak oil, starts easily, and offers Jap reliability. Magazine reviews at the time found it superior to the retro bikes that Triumph was offering in 2000. The Kawasaki badges have been removed from the tank and seat cover, resulting in a timeless look that absolutely baffles admirers (this bike attracts attention like a magnet), who will try to guess the make and model without success. Runs and starts 100%, includes kickstarter, original toolkit and owner's manual, and a number of interesting extras that will be included if my price is met. The suspension has been upgraded with S&W rear shocks and Progressive Suspension front fork springs. Most of the original parts that were replaced will be included to the buyer. The deep red metal flake paint looks gorgeous in the sun. Please note bike was just rinsed off before pics so water droplets are visible in some pics.The bike has just passed NYS Inspection and is ready for a rider.
