I am selling my 2000 Honda Valkyrie Interstate that has less than 30,000 miles. If you know Valks you know what a beast this ultimate power-cruiser is. It has the famous "flat six", 1520cc motor that provides tons of power and torque with roll-on acceleration to spare. While the bike has a salvage title due to a low speed lay-down, Valkyries are tanks and all of the damage was cosmetic and has since been repaired. The bike runs like a scalded dog with no issues (everyone on CL SAYS that, but you can come see and hear for yourself). No misses, backfires, lags or other performance problems. Not a leaking drop of anything anywhere and no mysterious sounds coming from the motor, crankcase or transmission. No smoke...doesn't burn any oil and rides and shifts exactly like it's supposed to..Simply the smoothest, most powerful cruiser you may ever ride. Always garage kept and maintained well. The carbs were torn down and serviced this year, along with all the fuel and air rail "O" rings, as well as the intake tube "O"s. replaced fuel lines while carbs were out. New front fork seals and fork oil. The tires are matching Avon Cobras that are less than a year old and the rear end was serviced during the last rear tire change. New brake pads front and back which will stop you on a dime. And new front fork seals and fork oil. The paint is custom and I would rate as an 8 out of 10. It is cobalt blue metallic with apple green metallic flames. It has two coats of acrylic urethane clearcoat. You will not see yourself coming and going on every ride. Definitely unique.The paint rating is due to it was a garage paint job with pro paint and equipment and body work. There are small imperfections that most never see. There are small scratches and such on a speaker pod, engine guard and bag guard from the original drop and are very hard to see without close inspection. The photos don't do the metallic paint justice. It looks flat in the photos. But believe me, the metallic pops especially in the sunshine. Everything works on this bike except the speedo. I believe the cable got pinched during the reinstall of the front fender. I have a replacement from ebay that comes with the bike. AM/FM radio, four speakers all good (no CB on this model..can be added). Windshield is less than one year old and has no scratches or rock hits. 12v outlet in the trunk. All the bag and trunk locks are in top condition and are keyed alike with the ignition, fuel tank, trunk and bags. Factory-wired intercom for rider-to-passenger communication. Plus, a sweet set of Kury offset highway pegs. Like I said, if you know Valks you know what a great deal this is. There is another 75,000 miles left in this fat girl and all those miles can be yours. I am asking $5,900 for her and she is worth every penny.
