2014 KTM 500 EXC, For sale 2014 KTM 500 EXC in perfect condition. I purchased this bike new and have only used it in the dirt for 5 hrs. Everything on bike is in perfect working condition. After developing a bad case of arthritis in my neck I am no longer able to ride. The engine on this bike is all stock. I've also added thousands of dollars in aftermarket upgrades some of which haven't even been used. I have the clear title for this bike in hand. This a beautiful bike and I'll be sad to see it go but can't take looking at sitting in my garage anymore.Out of sight out of mind I guess. This is cash only and has to be picked up by buyer. I will not ship it. Much to my dismay, I have decided to sell my 2012 Monster 696. I simply don't ride it enough and feel bad letting it sit so much. I am the second owner and purchased the bike in early 2013 with 2,300 miles on it. I will be completely honest too - the bike was low-sided once in 2013 shortly after I bought it. There was no engine or frame damage, and all repairs were made by the Ducati dealer here in town. The rear swing arm was scraped up for a couple inches on the underside, which I cleaned and painted, and that is the only remaining visible flaw from the accident. The little maintenance since then has been performed by the same dealer or 2Topia cycles here in Charlotte. I think I performed 1 oil change myself and that's it. I'm reluctantly selling the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Adult ridden and babied, always garaged....the millennial edition rare metallic yellow VFR800FI. Selling because I'm pushing 50 and do not have the opportunity to take her out much anymore. I've owned her since she was one year old. I've seen people over-modify these bikes, I think I've tastefully enhanced her without overdoing it. I've never seen a better one (but maybe I'm biased). You will be hard-pressed to find a significant scratch on her. Never dropped, no stunts, no red-lines or being left out in the rain. Low miles and serviced religiously every spring. All maintenance has been done - needs nothing. She is 800CC's of V-4 16-valve DOHC pure torque. No hesitation. Very comfortable. Linked brake system. Has Sargent color-matched seat, tank bra, Zero-Gravity smoked windshield, polished aluminum rims, Yoshimura exhaust that sounds sooo sweet, Chase Harper removable saddlebags, Heli-bar risers, pretty blue neon nights and more. Clean NC title and good rubber all around (Pilot Power). The price reflects the perfection of this vehicle and it's modifications. I do have some of the original parts.
