Have people come up and talk to you about this bike every time you stop at a store or get gas. Customized like no other V-Rod in the country with carbon fiber wrap and pin striping on the tank and both fenders. Low Miles, new Pirelli tires and $5000 of Extras . . . Highway bars, Chrome spoke wheels, Screaming Eagle pipes, Alarm, upgraded seat, LED lights all around, and Saddle bags. Meticulous maintenance on the Porsche/Harley designed engine. This engine is meant to run fast going up to 9000 RPM, is smooth, and mechanics talked to have consistently said it is an almost bulletproof engine designed to run a long time with no engine problems and it's fast. $5950 is a great price with most 2002 V-Rods costing $6500-$7800 and having triple the miles or more while having no extras. For the price there are few bikes in the country that look, run, and perform like this 2002 VRSCA V-Rod. If you don't want people to notice you when ride up then this bike isn't for you. On average 3 people will come up and comment on how beautiful this bike is and want to know all about it. The pictures were actually taken at a car show because I was asked to display this bike because of it's uniqueness and the attention it brought to my friend's booth. I had to talk the whole time I was there showing off all the wonderful features. It's nice to have a bike that is flashy yet conservative at the same time. I think that is why people are so taken by it. That said, riding this bike is really a dream and you have to hang on. This is a 2013 Anniversary Edition RT that has 8500 miles on it. It is in great condition and has very minor scratches on the right side case. My BMW friends tell me these can be buffed out fairly easily. I am willing to add a large top case (2 Helmet capacity) in with the purchase of the bike. top case has a custom built rack on it for tying down gear etc. This BMW has some nice upgrades: back rest for both rider and passenger, foot pegs and GPS mount (including Garmin Zumo GPS). I'm selling due to getting married and having two young boys. I do not get to ride much anymore. If you're a parent, you get it.
