You might be asking, "What did I find?" You my friend have found a Unicorn! With over 14 years of Hummer H1, H2, H3 experience, including owning all 3 of the Hummer brand at some point... I can tell you this is the one! 4 North Texas Owners, Clean CarFax: Bought out of Lynch Hummer in Missouri, which was one of Sewell Hummer of Dallas's biggest competitors nationwide. Why did the first owner go to Missouri to buy instead of my old store? Because the 4 Door Hard Top was the lowest production Hummer H1. The Wagon and Open-Top were more mass produced. Lynch Hummer would not dealer-trade this H1 to us brand new in 2001. Mechanically, it's in great shape! This H1 needed very little in the grand scheme of things H1 servicing/reconditioning related. We did Glow Plugs, Glow Plug Control Module, Blower Motor, Vehicle Wheel Speed Sensors, and had a Rockford Fosgate amplifier installed, cost us a couple grand as a dealer to do so. Max retail at a dealership would be $5,000 plus for the work we just had completed. Next step is to have it Kevlar coated/fully rhino lined. The truck still looks great now as it sits, but when you have a cherry like this... we want to offer the best possible vehicle. This Hard-Top H1 was Yellow brand new. One of the previous owners had it painted Matte Black. It looks great, except for you can still see a few yellow spots that were not covered. My Kevlar/Rhinoline connection does exceptional work and we're going to matte-black Kevlar coat the H1. Should take about 1 week. If you've never owned one, this one is rare in the fact that all the window and power lock buttons work, radio works, a/c is very cold, heater works, wipers work, headlights work, horn works, interior trim pieces aren't breaking off or missing, AND it isn't a rusty/muddy POS that was rode hard and put up wet. In Summary: 1. Very rare and highly desirable edition 2. Very mechanically sound, and we've spent the money to make it great. 3. You have a 14 year Hummer product nerd, not buying from some warehouse or salesman that doesn't have a clue. 4. We're not being greedy or clueless and asking $100,000. It's priced to sell quickly.
