Born for This 98.2 KG: The main target for the KTM engineers when developing the SX models was a m***ive weight reduction compared to the previous generation. The result: the current SX-F models are the slimmest, lightest bikes on the track. Even though the 4-strokes are equipped with an electric starter as a standard feature, while the competition still needs to be kick started, the SX-F line weigh in pounds less. Rather than kicking to start - you can focus on kicking ***. FRAME: The high-tech, lightweight chrome-moly steel frame is engineered for excellent handling, precise cornering and supreme stability. Extremely Compact 2-Stroke Engine ENGINE: The modern, extremely compact 2-stroke engine fitted with an automatic clutch sets the standard in its class with great, manageable power. Thanks to the 3-shaft design, the crankshaft is close to the bike's center of gravity. This not only benefits the handling, but also allows for a flow-optimized intake angle into the reed valve - a prerequisite for maximum performance. CLUTCH: Developed by KTM, the centrifugal multi-disc automatic clutch provides manageable acceleration and makes riding this motorcycle the easiest thing in the world. It can be adjusted, without tools, to the specific requirements of the track and the rider in minutes.
